The masters suddenly disapear and there is a new syndicate of badguys with hidden identities. And the expansion is called betrayal. Who could have betrayed us and who are the mysterious syndicate? Better twist than Stephen King could ever write...

And we were all complicit in his rise to power. While most master challenges was rather senseless stuff (parading Catarina's zombies around, piggybacking Haku's spirits, slapping Vagan around, etc) Vorici was shamelessly using us for his advance with his missions, be it stealing secret documents, assassinating anyone in his way or beating them within an inch of their lives, sending messages to the opposition... real Mafia shit. ;)
