if you promote a build with frenzy charge & power charge & onslaught checked while using yriel, you can't win that comparison with phys wanders. If you make such a over-inflated dps build and would do the ssame for for blood thirst, you can use loreweave and apply frenzy & power charges like you did on your pob, the dps would get skyrocketed to 70M with also such imaginary jewels. I won't inflate that much. In short, what i'm saying is, in over inflated scenarios, phys wands destroy everry other build out there.

Perfect loreweave or perfect maim/crit astrals are insane for phys wanders. Yet i find such builds unreal since with those chests you can't generate charges consistently. That's why farrul's setup is the best for comparisons and as we said in farrul's setup comparisons, ele wands have slightly more dps which is about 2-3%. that is fair.

Your original point was that ele wanders wouldn't be able to cap their Cold Res without sacrificing DPS. In my build, I have demonstrated that gear exists to cap Cold Res without using Taste of Hate, AND achieve more DPS.

In your original PoB link you also had Frenzy and Power Charges up, so I'm not sure why you're now claiming this is "over-inflated" - I think it's a reasonable assumption that these charges would be up the sheer majority of the time.

With this setup, I'm using items currently on the market, and have my Power and Frenzy Charges up (but no Onslaught), capped res and a higher DPS than Blood Thirst.

Though, if I was making an ele wander I would use an Yriel's; not a Farrul's, which I also think is a fair representation. It's certainly not an "imaginary" setup - all these pieces of gear are reasonable attainable - +X% Damage 6L Yriel's are on the market right now.

what i wanted to say is if you over-inflate damage by checking f. charges and p. charges while having no real sustainable charge generation, phys wanders would look like as if they can outperform ele wanders by great margin.(thanks to loreweave or 7l astrals) So when you want to compare both wander types, it's better to use farrul's setups which are also more real, more accurate and fair ele wanders much more. as a conclusion bringing such build to conversation is not good for you.

The original POB link Rupenus provided had a reasonable power + frenzy charge generation source, namely Farrul's Fur which guarantees 100% uptime. If Farrul's is used, power + frenzy charges do not count as dps inflation. You are correct that charges would be up the "sheer majority of the time" without Farrul's, aka only while clearing trash mobs in a map, but we can all agree that's not when max dps matters. When we discuss min max shaper dps it's in the context of bosses like shaper/elder + shaper guardians/uber elder, and in most of those scenarios, frenzy + power charges are not active unless you are using Farrul's, which is why Rupenus claimed your first POB with Yriels had dps inflation.

The other thing Rupenus was saying is that if you make a comparison between phys + ele wanders using chests other than Farrul's Fur, then phys wanders would win due to items such as Loreweave or Mai Cedere's elder chest: Oblivion Veil, which essentially makes barrage a 7 link. Ele wanders have no equivalent so they can only use Yriel's, which can't compete with an elder 7 link chest. If we are discussing only Farrul's Fur setups, the dps between ele and phys wanders is pretty close. This is why he was saying that bringing up the option of using chests other than Farrul's Fur serves to weaken rather than strengthen your argument.

I noticed that one of your Loath Grip rings is called "cold res version". Could you explain how a ring like that can exist? I'm well acquainted with Loath Grip since I've used it in the past and I'm aware it's a 5x T1 damage + master crafted flat damage ring. The essence mod on the ring is 25% crit multi, which is a suffix. Attack speed and accuracy are also suffixes, which means the ring in your POB has 4x suffixes (cold resist is a suffix) and 2x prefixes.

Could you also explain how your Anarchy Harness Stygian Vise likewise has 4x prefixes? Flat life + % life + % flask effect are all prefixes, and you have a mastercrafted 22% WED which is also a prefix.
