If I weren't a grown-up, I would've LOL'ed. Can you use Google and still be "fully legit", or do you have to play the game 100% blind?

Nice job cutting out the word "MtG" from the start of that sentence so it sounds like 100x more ridiculous. What kind of cosmic asshole would do that?

Magic: the Gathering is a game of strategy played one person vs another. If you were at a magic tournament and just outsourced your strategy to someone else who was watching, you'd be kicked out. But on Magic Online, the less competent streamers do this all the time. Even when people watching e.g. LSV are yelling out which line to take, it's obvious that LSV isn't paying them any heed and is doing what he thinks is best. But people like, well, his girlfriend Gaby, will be all "oh I totally didn't notice that thanks!!" and get an unfair advantage from chat.

Which, again, doesn't violate the MtGO ToU (as far as I know) but it is super not legit, in the same way ghosting a streamer on MtGO that you're playing against so that you know what's in their hand isn't legit.

Well, there's your problem; if it's not illegal, why is doing it "not legit"?

I removed it because the modifier was irrelevant for the context. Your rant went on and on about the streamer in question and whether he's "legit" or not and goes on to say that only streamers who play their games "entirely on their own merit" are "legit". I then followed up that with a question, which you still have not answered; are you legit if you use Google?

Streaming MtG (or any other game of the tcg variety for that matter) and expecting the opponent to not see your hand is just plain dumb. It's like playing rl against someone without hiding your hand and then yelling "YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO LOOK!!" when they look at your hand. I hope nobody's actually stupid enough to complain about their own actions like that...

No, I'm certain some people are.
I am enjoying from time to time streamers "fellowship". Few bits here, few bits there, item here, item there, thank you for what you are doing and good luck :).

I believe many was thinking about starting stream from whatever reason, but part of those do not have a balls to do so :).

We all have same chances.
Seems like a simple solution would be to stop watching him. As long as he's playing by the rules, I don't see why it should matter. Each to their own though.
If someone is putting a hole in front of you and sticking golden bar into, that doesn't mean you are welcomed to dig it deeper. BEHAVE
