Sounds like a worthless RNG based "challenge".

Hmmm... why not go for oni-goroshi? Though it would probably make the grind even longer than it already is.

I have over a dozen Oni swords to date and I don't believe that you can kill uber Hillock bare handed. Maybe if you didn't cheat and use a weapon on him and you then did a few hp points of damage, died, re-entered the instance, attacked again and repeated for 100s of deaths it might be possible to kill UH bare handed but why? First you would need to lure him all the way back to the spawn point (the hell with running up the beach 100s of times). Then you must face tank him so he doesn't leap slam and create his zombie minion hordes. It's bad enough that we have to grind into level 8 usually (it's a rarity if you get UH in level 7 and unfortunately we don't get UH until level 9 sometimes... I had to do that grind shit on 4 exile farmers) with using a weapon but to have to do that with no weapon (unless you get super lucky with a unique drop) is totally stupid and I'll never want to try. I'm crazy insane already by most players thinking just to want to do the normal grind to UH so no way I'll ever handicap myself even more.

Arrowneus is correct - You would NEVER be able to kill UH bare-handed.
I killed him last week on my alt account as Templar Glacial Hammer and it was close to not completing as he chased me all the way to the spawn point.
Once he enrages at 50% kiss your Gucci Hobo ass goodbye.

I'm not sure why you would want to grind the Twilight Strand beach without a weapon or any gear looking for uniques. See the other Oni-Goroshi thread here for the list of uniques that can drop in zone 1. There are not that many. The straight up grind for getting Charan's Sword to make running the 10 acts much easier is arduous enough, doing this Gucci Hobo style (sans normal weapon and gear) is even too insane for me.

Edit: I'd much rather grind in other linear zones like The Ledge or Blood Aqueduct is an even better zone. I ran BA zone in Incursion 100s of times for the easy access to Alva pyramid runs plus being act 9 there are tons of uniques that could drop (not to mention Humility cards for a Tabula).

Honestly the best way to get uniques early is probably to rush normal lab and do dark shrine runs until you get Izaro drops an additional unique...

Once you get a unique, get off the beach, kill brutus, kill merveil, kill piety, and kill dominus that is lol.

no big deal...
