Yeah, any time I'm not sure if someone is just not a native English speaker or a troll I check their post history. This guy's English and spelling have gotten noticeably worse. I won't quote and post his stuff like I did to a certain other troll but it's the same schtick. Hence the reason I've started ignoring him. ;)

i'm a new player. i played a witch for about a week a year ago. came back to it and saw delve.
now i am playing scion for three days. i'm level 62 with level 60-50 gear with stats that i don't want. but i tried to get the armour and hp
my hp is 1.3k
but i survive, and can do about 30K fire dps on each monster (damage Per second AOE while stationary), without consideration of about 30 pene that i have with support gem. and also my wasted points that wait for refounding. and No, i am not counting the 13% crit chance that's going to go to CAP when i hit 100

this is just the start, of what scion can do. hell i don't even have the gem socket colors i want. because i didn't knew about base item importance and the relation of stat requirements and socket color probability

if i had the items i want, and the gear of my level, i would've done 50k or even above, and have a better

are they weak? NO HELL NO. you just need to be evil enough to harness their power

It's more fun to take them seriously sometimes that to just get mad at them for trolling.

Most of the time I post on the forums to avoid playing.

But the other thing is keep in mind that when people do random searches, threads like these can come up, so having at least some accurate info is better than nothing but misleading rantings.

IMO Scion is weak. Sure, in the hands of the great Mathil (infinite admiration and respect for him) it's strong, but for the average Joe is just meh

Lore depicts the blonde girl as a monster in learning, so why don't let her take the ORIGINAL ascendancy nodes? Not the watered down versions!

-So, already with the first lab, she could get the first ascendancy of any sub class, for example Wicked ward (occultist).
-Second lab: she can go on with the second occultist's node (Vile bastion) or instead take the first node of any other class of other exiles, for example Swift killer (Trickster)

And so on

With this method, at the end of uber lab, a player could end up with:

1) 4 first nodes from 4 different sub classes
Or
2) 1 first node and 2 second nodes from 2 classes (example: an elemental ignoring inquisitor with regenable on kill Es)
Or
3) 2 first nodes from 2 classes, and 1 first and 1 second node from another class (example: Weave the arcane, pendulum of destruction, righteous providence and inevitable judgment)

This way Scion will be better (but now the nerf askers will come screaming OP! OP! Yes, because 12 skellies that maul bosses for nearly 300k dps each are NOT op, right?), albeit not fully specialized like an actual other exile.

THIS would be the REAL monster in learning that she should be

I play Raider/Slayer melee phys, lvl 89 as of now.
Did not die in a single lab run.
Scion is the best for a casual player, which I consider myself to be one.
Cheap gear, speed clear, survive most of the situations with just slightly below 4k HP.
Delve around 150, maps around t10-12 (bad luck findind higher ones), I am pretty much satisfied there with everything with my playtime (2-3 hours a day).
As Shagsbeard posted earlier, it is the lack of choices that makes Scion very easy - once you know what you will play, you just go for it.

Can the moderators just ban please? its like 50% of new posts wtf happened to the days where forums had some quality -_- ( I do realise they are long, long gone)

On topic Scions pretty strong her subnodes + the extra 10 passives are fairly strong contenders for the power level of other ascendancies, if you think they aren't you probably overvalue big ticket nodes without realizing it.
