What the scion does do is allow for potential combinations that could not otherwise be achieved.

i understand that point would like some examples and build ideas if you got any

There's an entire scion build section.....
Yep, totally over league play.

You cannot compare 1 scion choise to a complete ascendancy. Scion can pick 2 AND on top of that put points from te starting of one of those classes starting area.

but you have do to uberlab for that are you willing to die to traps waste 2 offerings for carry if you are going to play 3 to 4 char per league are you willing to do uberlab on all of them?

You make doing 3-4 Eternal labs sound like some sort of endgame challenge.
It's just a T8 map with traps and a T10 boss which has phases you can check in advance.
Traps are very easy to learn and avoid. Can even run through them or occassionally get hit by them with normal flask management.

You are comparing ascendancy classes so leave player skill out of it.

sad that im an unskilled player didnt complete the trails and uberlab in delve just because of traps

Admittedly the uber lab points don't do a ton for the build, but the elementalist/templar is a good fit. Uber was a cake walk by the way (when I didn't get careless around the traps), and that was before I got the second boss-killing staff.

i find it very hard to complete ulab unless i'm playing a tanky character since i'm impatient as fuck and always try to rush past all traps. doesn't help that flame dash sucks compared to whirling blades as a lab running movement skill
i'm playing an elementalist/slayer scion and have to admit getting ascendancies doesn't feel quite as powerful as with other classes

gotta admit scion is good in specific situations like that

I'm playing a Slayer/Elementalist and she's doing ok. Not great, but not gimp either. I get to laugh at reflect mods on maps though.

i feel like there's a hole in your builds, usually you have to convert 100% of physical damage into elemental damage to utilize 50% more elemental damage with attack skills support effecitaly but i would like to know what buidl you guys are playing.
My League starter this league was a scion. Easiest class I've started with to date, and had no issues the whole trip from level 1 through Uber lab.

Uber lab took me some time to get...I didn't think about it until I got all the unlocks myself, So I was bit overleveled, but still had no issues.

Ran DW Groundslam build, beserker/slayer ascendencies. Not only was it a fast clearer, but also ran most the areas that my other starter builds struggled in fairly easily with very average starter gear (typical trash rares, corrupt 6 link armor, etc.) Only spendy thing I broke the bank for was a Soul taker (not cheap early in the league), but it was all done from self found currency.

Cheap, fast, easy to level and farm with...not sure why people would think the scion is weak. Perhaps limited in ultimate potential, but I've had no problems running any of the maps I have to date. Not sure if it's shaper friendly since I haven't been able to break past tier 13 on maps yet, But have no issues so far with anything.

I wouldn't say that Scion is the weakest. I'd say she is the most flexible, with the price of that being losing out a bit on the top end potential. This can be overwritten with the right builds though, IMO.

If I were to give feedback to the dev's, I'd say do something about making those last few points a bit more interesting. your first 3 labs are the most potent...after unlocking 2 different ascendencies, being able to "start" in another area with a few extra points feels underwhelming, especially since you've most likely already built a full tree, requiring you to waste some repsec points moving things around....something no other class is required to do. and you usually only save yourself a half dozen points or so with this final step. the extra points are the best part.

EDIT: I would agree that many of the ascendancies could use a rework. Some simply feel whimpy compared to others...I find the Assassin nodes especially bad in this area, and mot of the ranger as well. elementalist aren't bad, and a few of the others are lacking. A rework would definitely benefit the scion, but mostly smaller adjustements.

Playing smite/V.A.totem with heralds purity and thunder, and wrath. Golems typically lightning and chaos, but sometimes stone. works though yellow maps easy. Delves down to 200 should be, but I'm hanging out at about 125 trying to learn to delve better.

SSF so equipment is meh at best.
