I'm not sure where your anger is coming from. Maybe you have financial issues, maybe your having a hard time with your spouse, maybe you just need a spouse. Who knows.

I merely gave my opinion of the game, and where I feel it's at in the development process. Raging on someone's opinion and telling them they're unintelligent and ignorant is something that most adults, that can actually call themselves that, wouldn't do. It doesn't help the community or your own personal health.

I apologize if what I said made you so mad that you had to drop the personal attacks of brain power and logic. But I'm going to be the adult in this situation and look past it, like a parent would a child throwing a tantrum.

Thanks Elynole, that's exactly what I wanted to know.
You guys are super hurtin too... It's funny how people get so pationnate about videogames. The D3 beta was awesome considering i'm not a huge gamer and played D2 10years ago, so it brought me back to good times and I love satan. My schedule dosn't permit me to play games for consecutive hours without end (which i'm sure some of you do) but I just built my first pc so i'm looking out for great rpgs to play.

Well... comparing D3 to Galaga isn't pretty smart, Elynole.

If I had to share some light on something, the areas past the beta that players could play in the past few days showed some new mechanisms.

Bulls charging players, trees throwing poisonous mines, enemies creating walls to knock you against them, jailer, etc... It's only 1/5 of act 1, and it already has more diversity than PoE.


GGG will had those features (hopefully) in the game, but currently, it's lacking on this side.


even the random quest system is new.

Galaga is an arcade game, much like the feel of D3, D3 feels like it's an arcade game compared to Diablo I and II. It feels, wrong.

ho... so EVE Online is the boring game where you mine all day, let your skills learn themself automatically, and you have to use some spreadsheet before doing some combat? ^^;

PoE isn't like that aswell...

there both good games, but there in different stages of development. just because PoE offers more gameplay doesn't make it the better game. although at this point if your looking for something to play PoE is where it's at. we have no clue what either game will be like completed. just an idea based on what we know now
