Delve crafting is completely useless.
I really tried to like the league and yes it was fun for some days but I guess I will go back to maps again. The reason is that I don't see any reason to farm the fossils. This new "crafting" system has to be a bad joke. Just an example:
I used an on a crimson jewel and this is what I got: I could have archieved the same with an orb of alchemy because the tag "more chaos modifiers" from the fossil is nothing but a lie. And if the delve crafting isn't working at all I simply don't see any reason to ever do a delve again. "Yes, it is perfectly fair. It just sucks ass." posted by Thaelyn on 12. I made a 1.5 exa bone helmet with delve crafting. People have figured out ways to make other fairly crazy stuff too like level 30 CA bows. Then there’s the 150+ life 15+ %increased life delve mod + elder chests.
It may not be fully deterministic but it’s still damn good. |

RNG... this is my first and only for now attempt with same fossil (not ideal but pretty damned good for my CA)

SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

" Yes but with more control. You can increase the odds much more by blocking mods you don't want, like the metallic fossil giving NO physical modifiers for example. Generally you should rather look out for which mods you want to block rather than the mods you want to roll (even though increasing the odds of rolling those with the "MORE" tag is still usefull). ::::::::▄▄▄▀▀▀▄▄███▄::::::::::::::

The real problem is the poor wording.
Many players are uninformed it's just a % based chance for a certain roll, hence the rage - which is justified btw, it's nowhere in the description. This is a buff © 2016

Made both of those yesterday with fossils. You absolutely can use them to great success. Its just not that every try is going to be one. Helm for example I used the fossils I had that would put the nearby enemies have -chaos res but didn't get a good enough ES roll, so then i just used a few of the ES roll ones solo (before I was using both) Gloves was the same, just the ES fossil. I then went and bought rings\amulet to fill out my resistances. I'm high enough level now for a crystal belt so will probably try to craft a good one of those. I really want a shaper belt, but those are a bit expensive ATM and I can wait, I mean current belt is largely fine, but eventually I want damage from neck, rings and belt. See how that Fossil says "More Chaos modifiers" as in "your chance to roll these modifiers is higher" instead of "YOU'LL DEFINITELY GET A CHAOS MODIFIER"?
