Its unrewarding to do content with a very low chance for or no reward. While some content has to be hard to achieve to feel good, too much in this game is not gated behind skill but rng (grinding). Not a fan of league mechanics and challenges gated behind very low rng. Its the damn tiger from beastiary all over again.

The current price for resonators is 85c. That's your answer.

Was there ever any (non anecdotal) basis for certain accounts/characters getting prime resonators "dropping like candy"? Or was it hysteria because some streamer got 2 prime resonators in 10 min and something vague was mentioned about chest drops in a patch note?

Good question lol.

To be fair my entire post was created with a mindset somewhere between fact or fiction.

I can't tell what is really the deal with these things. I just wanted to make sure that the "all or nothing" claim was not true... which it seems that it is.

It would seem that these are as rare (or maybe a little more rare) then an exalt. If that is the case then I'll just keep looking.

Just wanted to make sure that the seeding bullshit was exactly that... bullshit.

A lvl 95, a lvl 90, mine depth 340+, fully clear almost everything (5, 6 tabs of fossils)... no prime resonator. Found 2 ex, 2 annul, 4+ divine.

I got 3ex drops and 2 timeworn keys. Hell someone I was playing with the other day got a mirror. You know what neither of us have though? Almost 95 now, been going sideways at 300ish for a few days now. I explore everything.

I remember reading something (probably on reddit) about slipperyjim selling 100+ of them, but I have zero info beyond that anecdote (like was he flipping them?) I also remember hearing something about a pseudo exploit early in league where you could farm a specific chest without making it despawn, so it could have something to do with that. But again this is all just anecdotal stuff.

ignoring speculation it obviously sounds like these are ex tier rarity but what makes it tough to gauge is they drop in a specific location (side areas in darkness of delve) so in principle some people will literally never find one because of how they play the game.

I didnt know there were that rare threw my one away I found early on helm doing stupid shit like quality, enchant etc
