So what's the story on Prime Resonators?

I have 3 characters ranging from 89-93.
I'm at 260 depth now. I have the wall blow up challenge and fully explore every path I take. Still no Prime resonators? Are these things really this rare or is there some squirrely shit going on? I think they may have patched something in regards to this but I am uncertain? From what I'm seeing either people are getting TONS of them or NONE of them. Anyone here have a "normal" experience? Maybe have 2-3 of them or 5 of them or something? Prime Resonator = 4-socket Resonator for those that may not know the terminology. Just curious because I feel like I going down the Mad Hatter's hole going just as crazy as Niko. EDIT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE FOUND 1 or 2 RECENTLY: Some players are claiming long path ways are the way to find this. Others claim they have found one on an Alt? For those of you who have found one on an Alt can you confirm whether or not the Alt was created AFTER the latest patch or before? Thanks! Aparently certain accounts had a bad seed and would never find a 4 socket resonator, ever.

well from the sounds of it from other videos and such, the way to find them is extremely long paths. i've noticed a much more frequent appearance of very long paths between nodes at deeper levels, but i've still yet to find a 4 socket res as well.

Found one on my alt. Wasn't that deep, like 180.

This is no bug or anything, just GGG making their content really unrewarding, rng based and ofc requiring you to repeat the same event 500 times for you to have a dencent chance.

lvl 94, lvl 90 and lvl 88 and i got none of them.
i pretty much do full clears of paths i take on all my chars, to give you a rough idee i got three stash tabs filled with fossils. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

Found one at about depth 50 or so on an alt. So seems to be just a matter of luck finding them.
