Ive always wondered if a currency AH would be worse then what we have now.

Ya bots could swipe all the mispriced stuff but they couldnt list things at an artifically low price either.

Yea PoE is indeed one of the most rampant botting games that I have seem since 1998, other than those Chinese p2w games that nobody cares about.

But you don't seem to understand that you're getting almost guaranteed 10 - 20% less currency than your orbs value actually is.

As I mentioned, there are a lot of fake listings for every orb.

You see jewellers 10:1 on sale, you price yours at 10.5:1 to sell quick. The botboys buy your jews quick.

Later you want to buy jewellers, you PM everyone with 10:1 price, nobody responds. You waste 3 minutes on PMs and then you give up and buy from bots at 9:1.

^ This. Back when I played trade league I listed currency valued like halfway down page and still got hits. You guys gotta be careful with everything because people low ball items and currency with no intention of actually selling just to get y'all to sell to him cheap.

But hey, it is all about efficiency, not about rate. Sure, "normal" players can give you better rates, but trading with them is pure timewasting. I know it on my own example. Sometimes I need to "force" some item to have properties that are not assigned to such item by assumption. For example - 5 red sockets in assassin's garb. To get such thing I have to spend at least 2000 chromes, but that is really minimum". in most cases it is 4 or 5k. Try to buy such amount from "non bot" player. No, thanks. So I will choose bot, worse rate, much better comfort, less time wasted.
