So there is no methods to buy old supporter packs

Dear GGG officers,
Due to my job, I can't play this game continuously, which means I missed some patches, I missed the contents, and I missed the supporter packs. The first 2 things I can still get during gameplay in the standard league, but only supporter packs, they are gone forever. I strongly suggest that for some periods in every year, like Christmas, you put old support packs in the shop, so people who missed it can buy it, and support your work. This is a win-win marketing strategy, and it will be a really Christmas for both GGG and players.

You can buy the current supporter packs if you want to support their work. That's what they're for.

Its been that way since closed beta.

People buy supporter packs to support but also for exclusivity of the pack contents. If more people are allowed to buy it outside of that window, it is no longer exclusive. I'd be surprised to see this happen ever.

You can't think things base on your assumption, how about I went to a country and worked for a few months, and POE is totally blocked in that country? And what is more, 99% VPN is blocked in that country too.

After it is no longer exclusive, what will happen next? You don't lose anything, and POE items are not like items in other games-- they are not tradable. It has no value and price, so from the economic perspective, it raises GGG revenue, and players get what they missed.

I'd argue the opposite. As someone who buys supporter packs and does challenges every league to gain the exclusive MTX, i'd be quite annoyed if someone could buy them later. It has no price, sure. It has no value? I would argue that is quite incorrect. MTX is all about perceived inherent value to the customer. Imagine you bought something under the premise that it would be exclusive. You buy it, you feel all special. Then next year they sell it again to other people.

From an economic pov, it would result in more money but there is a tradeoff of customer expectation and perception. If I knew upfront that these weren't exclusive and would def be in the store eventually, I may have only bought one of the packs and decided to buy the second later etc.

Just my two cents from the other perspective.

Since you mentioned the inherent value, you surely know it can't be quantified, and not all people buy packs just because it is exclusive. For example, I even don't know they are exclusive until you told me today. I bought these packs because there are SUPPORT packs, which means I can support GGG to run this free to play an online game better. What is more, I don't put my expectations on whether there are exclusive or not, some packs contain good looking suits, that is my expectation. I don't really think a lot of people will get mad when things become no longer exclusive.

Have to say that i agree 100% with this.
Ive bought packs, simply because i knew that if i didnt do it now, i would never get it.
There are atleast some packs i wouldnt have bought, if they werent exclusive.
