Pretty much, until now Breach was the best league so far and Delve is twice as good. I can see why hardcore players would not enjoy Delve since it's virtually impossible to die down there due to stupid shit like getting stuck in a corridor or on geometry while the cart keeps trucking along.

Sadly I missed Incursion because I didn't know about it. But Delve looks like perfecting an Incursion-like formula.

They are ultimately different. Incursion was pure and straightforward clearspeed check. In Delve, they buried nice concept under layers and layers of mechanics that are both poorly designed and poorly implemented.

Delve is a pretty creative design, and caters to what a lot of people wanted in the game.

Having more meaningful options in the game is a good thing, not a problem. Pick your poison and play the way you want.

Every new league the doomsayers will come here and spew hate. Go play an EA game, then, have a blast.

We get this post every league... one day it might even be true.

Wait till new expansion will get out.. than u can check if t STEAMing ppl play.. think there is a loads of ppl who not play on steam acc..

You know what we don't get every league?


Less players than the previous league.




In fact, ever since the launch of 2.0, there have been only two occasions when the launch peak wasn't as high as any previous league before, and those were the leagues following Ascendancy and Fall of Oriath, the two most hyped expansions ever. Disregarding those two spikes, it's been a steady incline for the past 2+ years.




Until now. And Delve didn't just underperform Incursion, but Bestiary as well.

This is a very unusual thing indeed.

Even if we were to assume that Delve got the same non-Steam player numbers as Incursion did, it's still 75k Steam users vs 50k non-Steam users on day 1. Steam users are still more than half the population.

Well steam charts r just steam charts man, I haven’t said anything about them r not b representative, all I said to wait till next expansion comes out and u’ll c if PoE peaked and falling since 3.0 I’m not on steam so I have no idea.. And if it’s falling I still will paly PoE if I’ll have fun;) And I’m enjoying delve so far;)
