Does VITALITY Aura need to be buffed? Or is it just me?

Vitality sucks.. Reserving 40% mana for the small benefit you get from it is not worth it IMO. I would understand if it reserved a set amount of mana like Grace, Anger etc. did. But 40% for something so little is really bad.
I kind of have to agree. What if, in addition to life regen, it also granted life leech? Levels 1-4 1%, 5-9 2%, 10-14 3%, 15-19 4% and 20 5%. Food for thought.

That would be very overpowered, but I do like where you are coming from.

Keep in mind most auras will NOT be played at level 20 for a long time, level 17 is about where you get your gems leveling to 70. As well, it's an aura, it's meant to apply to multiple people. That 1.55% applied to 6 people is effectively ~9%. It doesn't 'feel' powerful because of health flasks being used as the primary form of regeneration and this applies to all forms of regeneration in gemeral imo. Whenever you really need regen, you're going to rely on flat health and health flasks, not a vitality aura.

I think Vitality would be suited as a self-buff like tempest shield that gives like 3% life regen at max level. As an aura, it's pretty useless and even summoners prioritize every other aura over it.
Are you people missing the fact that it's granting PERCENT life regen? It doesn't matter how much life you have, you're still gaining only a set percentage. Of course you'll regen more HP if you have 10K. Everyone gets the same benefit from it.

Vitality is definitely underpowered. The only way I ever use vitality is if I already have 3-5% from passives. The small amount it gives now is really only useful for counteracting the chaos damage over time on maps.

Life regen is a bogus stat in this game other than passives and vitality. Oh look, I rolled life per second with my exalt. AWESOME! Well, no. Not really. It's only 3.9 life per second. What a completely wasted roll.

They should increase the amount of actual flat regen you can get on items and then have vitality increase that amount.

A flat reserve would pretty much mean everyone would run that aura (like how everyone runs Grace), and GGG would have to nerf the life regen even more than it is now.

I think Vitality is a decent aura and deserves to be a percent-based reserve aura -- just not 40% reserve worthy in its current state (more like 25%).

Life leech isn't something that would meld with the entire philosophy of the Vitality aura. It should either give passive life regeneration, or active life leech, not both at the same time. Would it be cool if the aura provided both? Sure.

But I think everyone here is simply highlighting the necessity to buff the existing aura up to an acceptable level.
