Only few hours left and i still cannot decide ...

... if Delving with Caustic Arrow or Viper Strike ...

Which should i go for ? And Why ?

If you like to suffer go with Viper Strike.

to be honest i don't think either will delve very well, as in going beyond t16 levels of mobs, but viper strike is painful to use for clear and pretty amazing for single target. caustic arrow may be pretty damn good for both now

im definitely going caustic arrow. i think what will fail on the build first is defenses. area clear should be top notch. single target should be above average.

with viper strike you almost feel obligated to go crit, which means assassin and coralito's signature and more than likely claws, which means you're squishy for a point blank name targeting ability

Try one... don't get married to it. Decide Monday if it's what you want to stick with.

If you are actually trying, go caustic arrow. its gonna be really good.

Viper strike is really strong for bossing so if you want to set up a 6L clear you can use The Embalmer gloves for a 5L viper strike boss killer.

But again, if you want to do well and are serious, go Cuastic Arrow. Lots of support and buffs to it. Its gonna be insane.

Forget both and roll a Sunderboi, you know it makes sense :)

i personally see caustic arrow as being one of the best clear skills in the game now, with these buffs.

it has overlapping mini explosions. so pierce or chain with gmp will be huge. it can poison (if using herald of agony, which you will be) and it leaves very high base dmg DoT ground effect, which will mop up all stragglers your initial hit doesn't kill.

it will one shot all packs in the game with minimal gear. it will be badass
