And not just that, but to anyone who likes to replace broken parts. Apple is simply hostile to it. I'm thinking about their laptops when I say that. Things like soldering RAM into the motherboard, gluing batteries in place, and now even the SSD is non-standard and soldered in.

So they have a whole platform designed around its end user never taking it a part even though we all know they apply way too much thermal compound (and poor quality paste) that demands being replaced. Sad!
