Trials for labyrinth are boring and pointless for experienced players, make them optional

For experienced players lab trials are a mere annoyance, a form of boring busywork that makes participating in leagues less engaging.

Trials should permanently cease to be a requirement after completing all 10 acts on any character. Allow the offerings to be earned in other ways (ie: as an item drop from certain bosses). Allow players who are experienced to run one uber trial and then use that one offering to run uber lab.

Before somebody pipes up with "Then the offerings market would collapse", remember that trials are a pain point for pretty much everybody who isn't profiting from others' pain point about this same issue. So, get over the loss of a minor amount of profit on that one item and find something else to profit from instead.
Now that prestige classes will finally leave lab in 4.0, will GGG get it right this time or will they find new ways to repeat old mistakes?

Some characters run trials easier then others (regan and tanky builds, NOT leech)
Some characters Run the actual lab better then the trials (leech/ No regan builds in general)
Not going to disagree with the requirement part, but imo, only getting them from trials is a good thing for this reason.
+1, they are long, tedious places have the no layout variance and it feels like a groundhog day to run them again and again and again for the questionable reward. Labyrinth and trials are amongst the worst mechanics in the game.
Organic chemistry is a weird thing. If you add a spoon of shit to a barrel of jam you'll get a barrel of shit.
The same line of argument can be applied to running through the 10 acts over and over again

Actually experienced players rush through them with ease, definitely not bothering to whine on the forums about it.

You're implicitly de-linking trials being dead easy from trials being pointless and boring for experienced players.

But, the value of trials as a tutorial falls off dramatically for experienced players. Leaving them as an option for those who feel the need to brush up before taking on lab makes sense. Keeping trials as requirements doesn't serve any useful purpose, as they amount to nothing more than busy work for those who are experienced.

On a related point, uber trials remain a pain in the ass because you can't move forward without completing them. So, if you're suggesting that trials are not a factor in the ascendancy process, so why bother with bringing them up in the feedback forum, then you don't have much of a case to support that.

bla bla bla

I'm stating simple things : if you were good enough (or experienced, in the context it's pretty much the same thing), you would not be QQing here right now, and you would not be calling it "busywork".
There is a lot of meaning for having them remain in the game. Some people get a bit of knowledge of the uber lab from it or can even .... wait for it, something that the anti-lab bully brigade has never been able to do/understand ... get better at the game ( here : the lab, obviously ).
Plus the obvious offerings of course.

This is too easy ...

You don't understand. It is supposed to be boring. Otherwise prestigious players had to play a game with less pain-in-the-ass mechanics, feeling less important. Who would play the game at that point?

Not the important people, I'm sure.

Nothing to be bored about if it does not take a significant enough portion of your playtime, those areas are quite small.
It's a very easy concept.

Honestly I find trial a fucking chore(and more deadly) to run comparatively to a whole uber lab, that is pretty much my problem with trials lol
