going to try this build out. got 6L shavs, 4 pens. wanna do indigon version. still got roughly 15ex to spend, watcher is 4 ex, indigon rougly 40c... can get there.
my question is coz i didnt find out anywhere, why do we need that watcher's eye with ES gained on hit? does it triger ascendancy regen from wicked ward? coz roughly 25es per hit does not seems like much with our attack speed unless we go barrage then it might be somewhat noticable.
also what is the ascendancy order? went with profane bloom, had to get Mark of submition to get curse on hit somewhere and now reaching 38 to get curse on hit.
also what about using chain with Frenzy? dunno if it would curse with chained projectiles but seems nice to have too

The only other slot you can get aspect of the spider on is the belt, but then you are basically stuck with some garbage belt. Was thinking of dropping it and getting a cdr belt (harbringer one maybe?, has no ES, but es recovery rate is nice) or a decent stygian + another rare ring with aspect, what do you think?

I am aware of what's available. People in this thread are rescapped and play with the Spidergear in Delve.
Stop acting like you are entitled to get some of the best gear in the game for free.
Read the dang OP for once and you would find out that even without the SpiderGear UberElder got killed by multiple people several times already in this league.

You can replace Mark of the Shaper with another Ring - The OP mentions this - also in regards to exactly your question about the spideraura.

Aspect of the Spider is only for the extra tankiness from the leech on Fenumus Spinnerets (with +10% inc damage and slow of course) or am I missing something else?
Its 20% damage - and its a more multiplier instead of an increase. But yes, the tankyness is what we are after.

I used to play similar build with life gain on hit gem but used barrage + increased accuracy support gem to get as many hits as possible to leech more and frenzy to generate charges. here we are using only frenzy with gmp so es gained from hits seems medicore on bosses.
EITHER way my original question was whether there is synergy betwen wicked ward and es gained on hit. if i hit someone and get es on hit, does it count as "STARTED ES recharge"?
