Reave Elementalist need help
" Well to be honest, reave still isnt really good for single target. For single target you could switch out reave with blade flurry perhaps. You should and this is just my opinion but get rid of Paragon of calamity in your ascend. And then put those 2 refunded points along with the other 2 points your holding on to into shaper of desolation and beacon of ruin. Since beacon of ruin is going to be more helpful for aoe clear and not single target, you can also not put the point into that node and just put that last point in elemental damage and resistance node and not a big node. Sorry if that sounds confusing. As for your 6 link chest, I would get rid of increased crit for a concentration effect gem. At level 20, it will give you I think another 54% damage(could be wrong) but was a big damage boost for me when using it. Also your gems need increased quality as alot of them will give another 10% damage to skills at level 20. Also on your passive tree. Looking at it from where you started it and going straight up, you have points in heart and soul. If you go up 1 node and to the right, there are blue nodes for area of effect and area damage. I would connect to those from your deep wisdom node and get at least 3 of the AOE nodes. The area of effect, area of effect damage, and for the third, blast radius. I was just looking at claws and noticed in your passive tree that you had extra lightning damage and resist pen. Look at this claw. https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Hand_of_Wisdom_and_Action Im not really sure if it would be better for you or not because of your off hand weapon. Also another option instead of a claw would be https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Doryani%27s_Catalyst but then you would need to change some passive skills into maces. I still think your life is very low and should invest in a better chest. I really like a good belly of the beast personally. It has resists and gives alot of life %. Edit: On your ascend tree, If you didnt want to use the node beacon of ruin, Just refund the one point out of calamity but keep the little node for damage. Well actually I'm using Blade Flury as single target, I swap gem with conc effect but you didnt see np :P About my life, I know it's low, I want a belly or a inpulsa but I dont have the money, even to get a 5L :/ Thank's for the tree advice I'm gonna take a look at this ! ;) But overall I think this build is just not single target, I dont know how I could reach decent shaper dps, I think it's more a clear build (which is very efficient !), don't you think so ? |

" Well dont forget that blade flurry is also and aoe skill, just does not have the aoe reave does. You can buy yourself a cheap belly or impulas that is not 5 linked and link it yourself to a 5 link. Just make sure they are at 20% quality if you are going to do 1 link at a time. Also a 5 link belly is only 25c right now and impulas is 15-20c right now for a 5 link. |
