please just nerf the ****out of Volatile Dead, in PvP

If it's so OP, why don't you run it and win the game?

I love how people defend GGG on PvP by saying it's pointless to play it, so somehow devs aren't obligated to do anything to fix how utterly broken it is. They added it to the game; that means they take on full responsibility for supporting it. I understand it's not a priority for them for many reasons, but that doesn't just remove all future responsibility for improving the quality of content they chose to put in their game.

I get that GGG can't do everything at once, but it's silly to try to shut down perfectly justified complaints by saying a. there's no profit motive for them to fix it so accept that it will remain broken or b. you're not supposed to play that content. The former argument is incredibly cynical, short-sighted, and defeatist, asking us to roll over and put up with poor quality content in our games (and frankly all products in our lives) because we're supposed to be sympathetic to institutions who just "have no choice" but to screw us over. The latter argument is plain stupid.

Desecrate, Unearth, Bodyswap... it's the usual Poet's Pen skill setup.
The point is within literally seconds they have an army of VD spheres locking onto pretty much everyone in the arena, chasing down everyone 3-4 screens away, with movement-speed-flask speed.

There's a difference between getting killed by VD and getting killed by any other skill.
It feels unfair.

It is fun to clear zones like this in PvE, but it is complete bullshit in PvP.

But as for PvP - D2 barely had an inkling of pvp, but one could actually find people. In PoE when people bother the only real incentive is Leo.
