Too many useless quest rewards
" SSF players can get the exactly right colors with 4L rewards or can get 4L item with specific type of defence (es,eva,armor) for crafting. Treshold jewels can still help with the damage stat. Side quest rewards are generally useful when you play SSF and when you know that that if you need that reward. If you need a ring with specific type of resistance (two stone cold+light res for ex) you do the quest or you can just skip. And yes when you can trade their rewards are useless %95 of the time but when you suggest smt you must consider all the players with all the conditions. (especially speedquesting SSFHC players in the very first days of the league) |

Some items could be useful in SSF mode, but I think they could be a helluva lot better overall.

The quest rewards mean absolutely zero to SSF. The only possible person to benefit from a quest reward is one completely ignorant of any of the crafting in the game - in other words a complete newbie.
There are enough orb drops to create more and better items than the rando shit you get as a reward. You may get lucky RNG on occasion, but most of the time it is useless stats on a 4L that you just sell anyway. Really reaching when using SSF as a reason that the quest rewards still have merit. Almost as bad as all the people that were spouting Beast League is an SSF dream. Erm, whatever, man, whatever. |

yeah, i try to skip all side-quests that result only in some completely useless item that's only good for a few shards when i vendor it immediately.
how about this idea: get a free prophecy from navali, instead? (coz we all haven't kill nearly enough frogs in wraeclast!! :P ) ooh! 'member when PoE was good and fun? i 'member!

This topic is not about whos doing or not doing these quests. These quests are there. So why don't they make them worth your while? It takes like a few minutes to upgrade those rewards, yet they are forcing you to complete them by challanges. What is the point? Im really interested about their mindset.
Give exp, crappy random lowlvl uniques, refound points. Some currency to teach new players about them, while make it worthwile for the more experienced players. I really liked the treshold jewels as rewards, when they released fall of oriath. Why dont they revisit the older content? They made a 10 act single playthrough, so they are indeed motivated to improve leveling experience. So why do they neglect such an easy to upgrade, quality of life change? It does not make sense from my point of view. For example, if the medicine chest quest would give like 50 scroll of indentify i would do it 10/10. Once, when i was playing with a poe-newbie fried of mine, he was really frustrated at the begining that there is a lot of loot, but he cant indentify them. It is a small thing, but can be annoying, so i could understand his frustration (before you enlighten me, i know you can trade other currencies to wisdom, but early on you need those too, to buy gems ect...) There is no Cain to indentify your stuff, and it would not break the economy to toss in a few wisdoms alchy or whatever.
