I think 2H in general needs some love, if/when that gets balanced a bit better they can look closer at individual item cases.
They need to get rid of the stat sticks. They're the problem here.

You do know they will nerf stack sticks right?

Solution to fix dual wield vs 2 hand :

1. You do not get the dual wield bonuses if only one of the weapons is actually used to attack.

2. Leap slam has 30% more attack speed when used with a 2 hander. Or hell just make it so it can't be used with a one hander. Makes no sense to "slam" the ground with a freaking foil.

3. 20% more base damage to every 2 hand bases, applied retroactively (they did it in the past).

GGG could make it useful if they released an end game boss with insanely ridiculous amount of penetration or minus resistances.

even easier give 2h weapons a damage multiplier like skills, that way flat dmg wont feel like a completle waste becouse of 2h lack of speed

boss or not past ac5 cero elemental resistance is a death sentence, they need to add a cero to that global defence (from 18-22% to 180-220%) and it would probably still be a crap unique but you can at least get absurd levels of ES to absorb all that damage you are taking.
