Survival problem, big time
" Everybody has smth to offer. You can buff your characters even with a few chaos spent. People buy whatever they need (TP or ID scrolls, chance orbs, alteration orbs) Check ratio here:
Spoiler
" You will probably find some 5 link items sooner or later while mapping but 6 link items are super rare. How to get desired 5 or 6 link item? You can use orb of fusings but it´s kind of gamble (you need around 100 fusings to hit 5 link and 1000 fusings to hit 6 link in average) Or you can pay Vorici 150 fusings for 5 link (1500 fusings for 6 link). It´s worth spending so much only on very good (endgame) items. On the other hand you can buy cheap 5 link armor (probably white) for just 1 alchemy " Don´t spend chaos orbs or any valuable orbs to reroll leveling items. It´s not worth it. Do some trades and get the items you need or use orb of alchemy or essence with resistance to already 4 link white items you can find. Don´t use fusings on white item without socket though! About colouring/sockets watch Ziggy video I have showed you (or any YT video related to that thing). But in short: it´s easier to hit red sockets in strength themed item And again it´s not worth spending any valuable orbs on low level items. Last edited by Rakiii#5559 on Apr 29, 2018, 12:29:44 PM

You kind of screwed yourself picking Righteous Providence as your first ascendancy skill. It's better to go with a defensive ascendancy point first. For you that would be Sanctify, it gives you concentrated ground which heals you. Also, when you get past Part 1 the bosses will be harder but they each have a weakness to them. That fire dude in Act 6 with all the totems, the one that killed you 20 times, has a weakness. His totems shield him and he does mostly fire damage. Kill all the totems channeling that beam on him to get rid of the shield. Carry a Ruby flask too, use it when you start taking damage.
You're learning too much offense, not enough defense in your tree. In this game you don't need much damage until you get up to around a level 80. Until then you just need to stay alive so you can level up faster. Those skill circles around the outside, the ones where you got Counterweight, Celestial Judgement, etc. It's way too early for those, they are for end game not for leveling. Critical strike I find is pretty useless until you get up to around a level 85. All the crit you are building now is doing very little for you. If you got rid of those two skill circles in the outer part of your tree and replaced it with more life, you would have a much easier time. Get rid of Disemboweling too. You need to think of a way to mitigate damage too in your build, there are lots of ways to do it. You can build a chain with Leap Slam -> Faster Attacks -> Fortify on Hit. Another one with Blasphemy -> Enfeeble. Enfeeble combined with Fortify will mitigate a lot of damage. This is if you're using Wild Strike, I see you are trying out Magma Orb but you don't want to switch between spell damage and attack damage, they are two completely different builds. I would suggest starting a new character instead of spending a bunch of currency trying to fix the one you have. The Duelist I'd say is the noobiest. Try a build with him and just get through the atlas so you can learn all the game mechanics then try one of the harder ones like Templar or Shadow. Builds

Advice you to go to the extreme end of how tanky builds should be made, IMHO block bĺeedsplosion gladiators so that it makes you understand the value damage avoidance or mitigation. Do not go crit based. Just RT so you can save those points originally meant for crit and accuracy, instead dedicate them to life, block chance and jewel slots. He will have poo DPS and unable to do guardians and shaper but at least you will be able understand how defences can help you in the game before you make your next 500k DPS build.
Another type you can consider are EO builds. These are somewhere in between crit and RT builds. Problem with EO is you gotta still be concerned with accuracy and understand the importance of elemental penetration, but it can have on par or even more than DPS than crit builds if done correctly, especially with raider ascendancy. I am still learning the game myself and have not tried EO with end game content, but I have enough experience with gladiators, having progressed with this build further than any other. |
