[3.2] LL, VD, Poets Pen, Indigon, 11.4k mana, 9.9k energy shield, 325k avg hit, Uber Elder viable

I'm also wondering why this is dead? Outside of the helm only giving 25% spell (down from 60%) and capping at 2000%? Are those two factors enough to make this build either not viable or weak to the point it's not worth the investment?

I've seen others still running the helm in 3.5 with success but I haven't been able to find any "hardcore" theory crafting and testing around which build(s) are still viable for all content like this build was (more or less).
