Elemental Hit/ EB/ 7 Auras/ Status Ailment Bow Guide
" Very constructive feedbacks :) Although this variants that you provided will work but its no fun and it veer off the original purpose of the build. Its far more efficient to go Templar or marauder to do this life max builds. Also you will need RT to be able to hit something end game with lack of both dex and accuracy nodes. My build purpose is: - survive the usual 1-2 hits. - not to get hit. - synergize skills with the auras. - will need a skelly totem or decoy totem or ice shot, GMP, elem totem for kiting. I do not intend to face-tank mobs really since I am a bow user. 1 point you are right was Inner force, while its good, its really too far out. Alternatively, instead of going into the ranger nodes, we can sacrifice that for Inner buff. But that will be at least 7 +10 nodes wasted. http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgYBAdEOrQ-rFHUWvxmKHNweGiQ8J6kppSpbLUctg0lRSn1QQlM1VUtW-lptYeJjp2egbWxte3BScsN0QX_Ggh6HdofbiEKMNpcGm7WhpKJAp1yrC6_rtDi1SMHFwdjEoswG0hnW0dsL3Q3dRuUZ53Tz6vT4-_X8TvzF_5MmlTZ7y0Fyu-jW6xSNv974pHjB1VFHMHx_K3fXb_I51KCfqriqf4cZMfp298qpIuqTJ7QMRnEqupUgKPrr7riTDH0Qf8ae I play a CI cold/crit witch with 3k ES (my focus being on rarity equipments), I may have to cast skelly every few steps down the road, but I don't die much. I have not really figure out how I want to play this build but by all means I will need something to tank. Its not really intended to be "tank it in the face Templar lightning strike build". Latest update. at lvl 25 now, just reach act 3.
Solo-ing no problem, running 3 aura now. Clarity/ Anger/ Wrath and taking up only 60% of my mana with 40% left. I was using quill rain, dps is ok, but the high speed drain my mana fast. Crap gear except QuillRain. Running Elemental Hit + LMP at the moment. Cant wait for lvl 31's auras! most creeps just die, elites and uniques can be handled with skellies. IGN: Aiers. Feedback: You have a bit invested into crit, but a lot less than you could easily get. Crit and crit damage scale really really well as you get more and more.
Here's an example of modding the build to get some more crit. Should produce a lot more DPS than spending points to get to the ranger start nodes. I believe the number of HP nodes is the same. Also took arcing blows (lots of DPS) and the Nullification ES/EV hybrid passives which are fantastic for pumping your mana and defense at the same time. Getting the two Heartseeker nodes in the ranger area will also likely produce more DPS than going into the duelist area, but that's a preference thing since they make your damage less consistent and make reflect more dangerous. I'm playing an EB build with only a few more HP nodes than you, at lvl 77 atm, and can say from experience that you will be incredibly squishy from mid cruel onwards. Staying alive is going to rely heavily on your personal gameplay skills, seeing trouble coming, dodging enemies and projectiles, using quicksilver and granite well. But it sounds like you enjoy that kind of gameplay :) PS: Ditch quill rain as soon as you can get a decent bow. The half damage applies to elemental hit damage as well. The ONLY skill that avoids quillrain's half damage is the explosion of explosive arrow. Last edited by aimlessgun#1443 on Mar 4, 2013, 2:48:02 AM

" Thanks a lot for your feedback and you are spot on regarding the gameplay. LOL I have updated your feedback into the various builds as well as credits to you and I think the mod on top is much more efficient than mine. Plus I was thinking of spending one point to get mana drinker, although we deal mainly elemental dmg, all bows come with some form of basic physical dmg. 10 mana per hit is still good and its right on the way too. Updated for lvl 48 progression + added my hp nodes.
I can survive, but gearing could be quite limited as our resistances nodes are limited. Therefore I added the 2 loops of nullification which adds armor + more mana (ES) + resistances and added more hp. now we have 216% HP and definitely more mana/ ES. IGN: Aiers.
