And to be clear, I don't know that I'd be interested in such an MTX given that the look (including the gender) of the classes becomes largely irrelevant after act 4, when your character's VO stops, their personality suddenly disappears, and all unique character responses vanish. But by the same token, it's kind of grating that there's not a gender choice from the start.
That's true asociation is not so deep , especialy leater on but still it is, and some players don't like it. Also we got automatic response for spme actions like trying to fire in city which stick with us for all the game and of course shape of armor. So the change will have it's impact.

Did we just assume the character's genders?
If you can't determine the character's gender, you haven't been paying attention.

I would love if GGG would offer male and females for each class. it is after all an aRPG...role playing game. I can't bring myself to play a female character so that means I don't get to enjoy three character classes. And vice versa for those that want to play the male roles but are females. I've never understood, other than it being a cost issue, why devs gender-lock classes. Black Desert Online is another example of infuriating gender-locked classes. So manyof their classes that I think would be fun to play are the female classes...so I just ended up uninstalling the game.
I'm holding out hope that GGG can commit the resources to end the gender-locked class thing by 4.0

This entire post is basically a brand new thought for me. What even leads to that level of rejection of a character model, and is it a condition that requires professional help?

Some people don't even get the basic here - mistaking gender change with free choose which kind of character to play when they wan't to start in Witch node on passive skill tree.

BuzzFeed got you, fam, in their thread about how some men are literally incapable of using a toilet or cleaning themselves, because ... I don't even know what.
Seriously, though, I ... don't actually think gender-locked classes are a good thing, but every single time someone posts about how they want them it is such a horrific cringe-filled pit of awful I just end up thinking of "left brown streaks on the sheets" and crying into my alcohol.
exiliox, I just hope you get better in time.
