dont use -noasync anymore causes memory leak use -nologo -gc 2 shortcut instead.Im still gonna update this topic if update neeeded

I used -noasnyc because the loading screens used to crash, especially cities.
Does -gc 2 support better loading times or makes 'em even longer?

Priority obviously is:
1. No Crashes
2. Faster Loading

It was an option to fix crashes on PC with low ram (Does it still work ?)
It will increase loading times.

The number of generations to keep around when running garbage collection
-gc
--garbage-generations

Usage: -gc <generations> or --garbage-generation <generations>

Doing this will increase load times between areas you have visited, and similar areas.

I get an error message and a crash after playing the game for a while.
EOUTOFMEMORY or Unable to Map File

This usually occurs when your game file runs out of ram, common on PCs with low ram or running 32bit versions of windows. Running the game with Texture Quality set to Medium usually fixes this, though having less than 4gb of ram will cause problems after changing areas a number of times.
You can also reduce the rate of these crashes slightly by adding -gc 2

For me it does still work. If I don't use -noasync or just -gc 2 instead, then my loading screen will crash every now and then.
RAM use seems to be slighty higher with for me with -noasync but I havent checked the numbers too often so I'm not 100% sure with that.

Well -noaync is
"do not preload art assets on startup and disable background loading threads"
So start time and ram usage should be higher.

About the original post, nvidia options could be updated for a better help :)
I think many people won't know what to do and could break things.

Anyway :
1. Ensure you're not doing those changes in the global tab.
2. Many nvidia options are legacy or opengl and won't do anything (i can make a list)
3. All Anti aliasing options should not work too
4. Anisotropy is already available in game (but anisotropy optimisation could help)
5. Don't disable NVidia shader cache
6. Setting Power management mode to "Maximum Performance" can help
7. Setting Texture Filtering Quality to "Performance" or "High Performance" can help
