High templar fight

Izaro has some competition now with kitava and innocence, so so bad. If they were removed i dont think anyone would complain

I'll be straight forward here. It is completely embarrassing if you die to this fight like it is ridiculous how easy it is.

I love both fights (Innocence more).
But yeah both are greatly over-tuned for the spot in the game they appear in.
Heck, the act 10 "Avarius" is easier.

Mechanics are fine. Tune down the damage and speed.
1k per bullet-hell ball is higher than some things in T1 maps. What the fuck act 5?

Hehe Avarius is not easy but not such You described him. I did not have with him such problems when fight first time. I did not defeat him because I did not want to do it too fast, I escaped with the portal at the end. Then I repeated it. I play hardcore so I never die by Avarius. Only those fireballs are dangerous if surprised, casting this was unpredictable.

In part 1, the part 2 is very easy.

I really dont like phases and boss timeouts. Save that crap for mmo

You might want to think a bit more about that. Innocence was EXTREMELY hard in testing because he didn't have vocal cues. Now that he does, I think he's one of the best boss designs in the game. Everything is telegraphed. The music is epic. The narrative stakes are clear and present.

If you're having trouble with him, just ask for advice. Don't go assuming that just because you hate it that everyone else does. That's foolish.

Clearly plenty of people would complain if GGG suddenly removed the High Templar Avarius/Innocence encounter. Not that they'd need to. You're talking about removing one of the most important encounters in all ten acts. You...really didn't think this one through, did you? Knee-jerk posting rarely goes well.

I mostly play 'real' melee and I never die to Avaricence anymore. Me. Shitty old me. I usually have between 1600 and 1900 life when I face him, max resists (not that they matter against the torch, but hey).

At worst I have to port to get my flasks back because the 'I AM THE EMPEROR' phase usually leaves me with fewer flask charges than I started with, probably because my AoE dps is so crappy. But Avaricence? Great fight. Keeping Innocence's shields down is satisfyingly challenging. If you can't do even that, you need better gear. Period.

Mobility is key. Thankfully I have whirling blades most of the time, so that's that. MOST play styles should have access to some sort of mobility skill.

Now and then 'I AM YOUR GOD!' won't leave you with a pillar to hide behind. That's fine. Cheat. use a portal and abuse that grace period. If the game isn't going to play fair, you shouldn't either. A few of those little balls will put you down, so don't fuck with them.

Compared to the much more cluttered bosses out there like Kitava's heart phases or Doedre The Fuck You in act 8, the fact that you only have one very large, very arrogant target in the High Templar fight is something I very much appreciate.

And if a doofus filthy casual like me can learn his patterns and take him out, anyone can.

Same could be said with lab. Some people just like these types of fights, i prefer old style bosses.

I had nothing to hide behind. I also only play with sound effects and loot filter, so never heard him talk.

Its my 5th or 6th char this league, not once did i like this fight.

Im Sc, think i only had like 700hp. Evertying dies in a second then you hit an occasional boss that takes 2-3mins. Its not about dying, dont care because i dont lose any xp and spawn at door. Just a really annoying fight to me.
