To start with, I decided to play some Squid Ink until GGG decided to finish up their maintenance, after which I mostly just farmed around on my duelist and marauder, nothing too committal. Having trouble getting up the gumption to fight the bosses right now, especially Avarius. Not really what I'd call hardcore. But then again, having to restart from square one because one or all of my guys have died because it's my first time doing these boss fights isn't exactly what I'd call fun either. So, trapped in Limbo it seems. Because of this, I'm considering creating either a ranger or a scion and playing SSF softcore mode (I like marauder/duelist/shadow/Templar classes too much to make them SC), if only to be able to do all the acts and ascendancy trials and give me an idea as to what the fuck I'm supposed to be doing, so I'm not running around like a chicken with its head cut off when I do these fights in hardcore. Not a fan of doing this, but it is what it is. But okay, enough of that now. Good session today. I finally said "Screw it!" and did the Daresso and Kaom battles and didn't die. I also did the Piety, the Abomination battle as well and barely beat it! She is, for the most part, going to be the same as my dual-wield duelist. I spread the love around a bit in this session, playing my marauder and duelist, as well as my ranger as well. I also created a new Templar too. He's a staff wielder whose focus will be on elemental ailments, especially ignite. Otherwise, not too much else going on. Just worked on my SC ranger, getting her to level 14 and making it to the tail end of Act I (Kill Merveil). https://youtu.be/xVhzF9UAAJg <<< Brutus fight Otherwise, a pretty honky dory session. And as stated before in a previous session: " And moreso now after looking at some of the mechanics of the later boss fights. Way more/harder mechanics than I'd ever seen in Diablo 3 (although admittedly I haven't played the game in over a year)! There's no way, no how, that I'd get it right the first time, not something I'd want to try and pull off in HC. Went ahead and played my ranger some more, and got past Act I and am now working on the bandit part of Act II (and like always I'm saving Allira and killing the other 2). https://youtu.be/i2PxTu2WMbY <<< Merveil fight And I even found a unique item when rescuing Helena, one that's actually useful!: So for tonight I'll probably start by doing that ascendancy trial that's in The Chamber of Sins since I didn't have time to do it this morning, then continuing on with the questline. " Thanks dude. ;] Got to play some Torchlight 2 in this session - normally a game I don't stream as it's my "switch off" game (plus, I use console cheats, which would probably get me shunned within the gaming community, despite the fact that I play SSF Hardcore in PoE. :\ ) - since they decided to do maintenance right when I started streaming. >.< But a good productive session afterwards. Good session today, if stressful. Did The Labyrinth for the first time. Definitely not a cakewalk, that's for sure. This will probably be something that I'll do only on my nights off since I basically have set to aside at least an hour for this. Otherwise, my ranger is now a:  If only for the poison buff (had to make a call between pathfinder's poison and raider's Onslaught). So, tomorrow I'll just continue on the storyline then. Just continued on the storyline on my ranger, completing Act III and just getting into Act IV (defeating Voll) https://youtu.be/QoBwJr_AXBc <<< Piety and Dominus fights Also!: I recently figured out how to combine video clips into one video, saving me some time and effort, although I'm still trying to find a "fade" option, in order to make the transition from one clip into another more smoother though. Bad session today. >:[ Got to play some Torchlight 2 again, since apparently GGG likes to do maintenance right when I start streaming. Game decided to crash as well just before getting to the Crystal Veins waypoint, meaning I have to start all the way over again. Then I was wetodid and forgot to move my webcam back after playing TL2 to where it normally goes, so all my abilities and anything else important that's in the lower-right corner got blocked off. I should've just stayed in bed. >.< Otherwise, I just worked on the Act IV questline, and made it to the Rapture device. Not much else to say otherwise this time. Aaaaand it'll be more of the same tomorrow, just keep plugging away on the questline.
