3.7 update
Build need a complete overhaul  This Build is inspired by [3.1] ELE LIGHTNING STRIKE - ALL T16s, Shaper, Uber Atziri, HOGM, Chayula, Elder. Ty for the Idea :) Very Important: To maximize your Lightning Strike Experience you have to do enable "Attack in Place" for Lightning Strike IMPORTANT: The complete Build is Outdated and i need/want to do a complete rework of it. But this will take alot of time so here i will give you the simpliest solution if you still want to play it. The new PoB Link. I made some Midgame / Endgame choices into the PoB so for all veterans it should be easy to understand. I dont know when i will update this Guide besides the Path of Building Link, so please dont ask me about this. Ty :)
What will be new?
I remove the abyss jewel/normal jewel guides and merged them into one, because abyss league gone core long ago so all will be fine ive changed the ascendancy choices to inquisitor and raider for overall better damage and defense option i made alot changes into the tree so we can now achieve up to 1m dps on the projectiles and up to 7k life with good gear i put in pierce support in the 6-Link setup for overall better feeling while mapping (no need to pick this as labyrinth enchantment anymore) even with the "wasp nest" claw you can now achieve very high dmg output, which makes it a perfect starter claw added the CWDT-Wave of Convition combo for additonal 25% lightning penetration added 2 might of the meek for a huge defense (life) and slightly dmg boost 3.7 Updated Path of Building besides that, lightning strike got buffed like all melee skills so together with the changes this build will be stronger than ever before Table of Contents 1. Pro: Very high dmg over 80% Lightning Penetration all content ezpz realy fast clear much leech with vaal pact and slayer overleech ez balanced all res for wise oak can wear biscos for mapping immune to shock Contra: Cant do reflect or no leech map 
Ascendancy
 We pick first the Slayer overleech and his path. After that we pick the raider passive, wich gives us ez frenzy charge generation against bosses and always onslaught at max frenzys.

We play with Claws for the nice extra life gain on hit and mana (depends on the claw). i bought this 300 pdps claw for ~ 4ex. A Phys dps claw is better than a Elemental dps claw. Gems: Hatred -> Wrath -> Enlighten Lvl 3 (better 4) I also took a Watchers Eye with Lightning Penetraion and Crit Chance with Hatred. Remember: When you dont take the Hatred mod, pick Herald of Thunder or Ice instead of Hatred Our Shield is the Lycosidae for 100% Hit chance. in it our Shield charge setup with bloodmagic so we dont spend our mana. Faster attacks is not needed, we are fast enough. Gems: Shield Charge -> Fortify -> Blood Magic Our Helmet is the Lightpoacher with 2 Abyss Jewel sockets with our CWDT-Setup in it Gems: CWDT (lvl 5) -> Immortal Call (lvl 7) Our Gloves are the Tombfist with 2 Abyss Jewel Sockets with our huge Attack Speed Boost Gems: Blood Rage -> Ancestral Protector Our Chest is the Inpulsa because it gives us a good dmg boost, good life and the Explosion are nice for mapping (Use an Vaal Lightning Strike for the extra Vaal Skill Effect if you get one ;)) Gems: (Vaal)Lightning Strike -> Multistrike -> Dmg on Full Life -> Elemental Dmg with Attacks -> Increased Critical Strikes -> Lightning Penetration We take the Kaoms Roots for a huge life boost and stun and freeze immunity Our Belt is the Darkness Enthroned and put in there our best Abyss Jewels We take 2x The Taming, wich ggives us at best 80% all res. a huge dmg boost because we shock, freeze and ignite. that means we get additional 60& elemental dmg per ring + the 30% from the ring, this means we get 90% elemental dmg per ring. Our Amulet would be best with lightning dmg to attacks, elemental dmg, crit multi, crit chance and life. i take this because i crafted it myself and its pretty nice. Or flasks are: 1 panic life flask. The Wise oak (because we have ez balanced res we get all the bonus in offence and defense). The Atziris Promise. A Diamond Flask and the last one is up to you ;) We take 8 Abyss Jewels (we want some with the higest lightning dmg and life as possible) and some Crit Multi jewels. Try to get at least one with str and one with all res on it. I also took a Watchers Eye with Lightning Penetraion and Crit Chance with Hatred. Remember: When you dont take the Hatred mod, pick Herald of Thunder or Ice instead of Hatred

A Stygian Vise with a Abyss Jewel (flat lightning damage + life/ele damage/crit multi/all res [wich you prefer]). Or BiS would be a "Darkness Enthroned" with 2x Abyss Jewel (flat lightning dmg + life + All res) We take 2x The Taming, wich ggives us at best 80% all res. a huge dmg boost because we shock, freeze and ignite. that means we get additional 60& elemental dmg per ring + the 30% from the ring, this means we get 90% elemental dmg per ring. Skilltree at lvl 93
we go straight to the claw leech notes and than we pick crit % life. after that we take the slayer (duellist) path and at least the lightning dmg notes Path of building Link if you got enough all res and attribute from gear and jewels, you can go switch to this tree and gain additional 400k dps (depends on your gear ofc) Path of Building Link

The pantheon is full up to you. i Prefer the "Soul of Solaris" and "Soul of Abberath" 
Enchantment
We have two good enchantments for our Helmet: 3 addtionial Lightning Strike Projectile is great in wide areas like dunes etc Lightning Strike Pierces 3 Additional Targets is great for close linear maps like channel etc and for more than one boss like trio The best Boots Enchantment is: Add # - # Lightning Dmg if you haven't killed recently Because we play without a curse you can try to hit Ele weakness or Temp Chains on hit at our gloves 
Leveling Guide
These are good beginner claws wich help while lvling and in early mid-game. Keep in mind that you should pick up the "Lycosidae" as fast as possible and if you dont have it take a "Accuracy Support Gem" in your setup And as always these are the most common lvling items: Take the Darkness Enthroned asap wich you can wear at lvl 1 and just with 2x 30 life jewels it helps a lot in the lvling process: The Berek's Pass rings are a blast while leveling with every elemental build. you should realy try them :) you can also upgrade them into the taming rings with the right other rings In the Skilltree you should go straight to the Claw leech notes and pick up the jewel slots

 After that fill up the rest of the notes around (life etc)

 Now you should reach the Slayer Passive and the Duellist Tree Startpoint, wich means you go straight the line forward, pick up all what you prefer and finally change ur 3 int notes to 2 dex notes and close the gap

 It also helps to buy some low Abyss jewels. Some jewels with "add #-20 to lightning dmg" is way enough for a supreme lvling expirience and they are very cheap with 1-5 chaos each

those abyss jewels are very expensive to get, with the price of one of those i can build a cost efective build to do all content lol.

" its a very good starter build, you can buy some cheap jewels for ~ 1-5 chaos each with 2x 20 lighting dmg and breeze through the acts like never before. i also tested a bit around in PoB and i would loose ~ 1/4 dmg without abyss gear. A big contra u should mention : Lightning strike is shit in tight space and vs abyss crackers the projectile are blocked.
