Twisty, GGG wants this game to be like this, throat cutting over loot. Stop bitching over ppl taking "your" loot in a public game, when you are just there to leech exp If you cant handle this shit then go play solo. Looting in a full group is the most fun thing there is to do in this game. It's almost like a game in itself. Is that item possibly worth 15% experience? Can I pick it up before the timer runs out without dying? Can I be the first one to click on loot when someone else timer runs out? The loot system makes you stay on your toes. If you don't like the loot system, I can only assume you're a lazy player spamming ground slam while watching TV, who doesn't really contribute that much to the group. What other reasons are there for not picking up "your" loot before the timer runs out? edit: This no-ninja thing is so strange to me. Say an item drops that is "mine". I decide not to pick it up. Do I have to type an essay to the group explaining why I don't want to pick up the item, and they they can now discuss among themselves who gets to pick up the item? It was your own foult. Here is how loot system works: It's yours for only 3 sec but not longer than that. If you are too far away from loot or too slow to pick it in 3 sec then blame yourself only. If you are too far away from loot then most likely you didn't kill that monster yourself. If you are doing boss and ranged you have easy time to loot your loot unless you are color blind of course.
