That's the idea actually. Some people enjoy FFA and that's fine and understandable but others just like to be respectful and enjoy a game where they can just smash faces and grab their loot without having to worry about timers. And linking and trading could also take place just like you said. But we'll just have to wait and see what the devs will end up doing.

Actualy the problem in OP post isnt FFA loot but as he stated the character was kciekd multiple time and still could come back.
When host kick someone,that someone shouldnt be able to enter any game that the player who kicked him is hosting.
Right now evne if you got a group of 4 stranger that agreed and 1 random guys come you cant deal with it because if he fast egnouh he can jsut alway rejoin and that waste your time continualy kicking him which mean less xp and gear.
Also kicked player should be forced out of the instance back into town so that they can also not take xp and loot/currency when kicked.
