Rested experience?

I wouldn't mind rested xp if that comes after lvl 100 and works on gem only

Gems max at 82-83, from 84-100 is like 2-10x the experience you need from 1-85.

Stopped reading there, I disagree. No MMO shit.

It makes a lot of sense in WoW. Maybe it doesn't as much for a game where you can't choose where to level.

I've never played WoW or any MMO, they look boring to me. From what I've seen though they all seem about fairness, overtime everyone ends up at the same spot and the only glory hardcore players get is stuff like world firsts and claiming to reach a certain lvl or clear an area before everyone else.

Here that's not the case, everyone can pretty much reach the end in a reasonable amount of time, you can play through the original content in a matter of hours and end game play isn't required to enjoy your time (ask Charan). Making it so everyone can eventually hit 100 removes the joy you get from the massive amount of time and energy it takes to get there.

A casual player can hit it but it's going to take them a year or more. Or they can just start a new build and have fun that way. This game isn't about taking a vanilla character to a max lvl and being done with it. It's about trying different concepts, builds, stretching the mechanics and for many of us trying to find a way of breaking the game.

In under 10 hours any casual player can see everything this game has to offer besides higher end gear and more skill points, no reason to make it so they can have access to this stuff while they aren't playing.

I see what you mean. Games such as POE aren't inherently about any challenge undertaken during play, but rather the simple experience of playing itself.

I mean, once you've completed normal difficulty, the game is essentially over, and all content has been seen.

Exactly, they call things a niche for a reason. This game isn't designed for WoW fans or mmo fans. Its designed for the D2 niche of players. Simple as that. There's already another game that borrowed heavily from wow already you might be interested in.

I'm not saying the OP's feedback is useless, I'm just saying sometimes people do things for artistic value and not monetary value.

A Grind?

You're playing the wrong game if you don't want a grind. The whole game is based around a grind...welcome to ARPGs?
I am against rest experience in this game also.
