Lich spawnrate

Sadly this is basically one of GGG's "Enforced Player Interaction" challenges, so either you go to 820 and buy or just accept that you will never get it.
ya this league is 100% just a currency challenge more than anything. the worst challenge is the ID 2 abyssal socket uniques. you definitely will need to buy these. i've gotten a few liches so far and they've all dropped 1 socket stuff. as rare as liches are within the actual abyssal depths you get, for them to drop 2 socket abyssal uniques......jesus.

Is this for real? At the rate lich spawns I would have done over 25k maps before this challenge is completed making this the most timeconsuming challenge of all times.

wasn't there an endgame grind that you had to do 100 pale council runs? pretty sure that is more time consuming.

100 pale council runs -> 4 keys for 1 run means 400 keys -> 5 prophecies for 1 key = 100 * 4 *5 = 2000 prophecies at minimum assuming you always get the right prophecy (the odds are basically zero, you probably had to run hundreds of times more prophecies, not to mention time taken to get the silver coins)

I guess that one comes close. You could however go to poetrade to buy the things needed. For lich you basically need to run alot more than 20000 maps at my current rate.

Then again, as much as I love the Abyss mechanics, the new Atlas layout and stuff this league is basically "Quit your ¤#"%#&¤ job NOW, leave your family and start doing meth if you want to do the content"

lich kills are buyable too, people are selling the encounters in trade chat.

I had three liches so far. Level 87. You can hear if the depths you go in has a lich as there is a more action-y music playing.

It's legacy league all over again.

I went the entire 4 months without finding a single key, and by any grace of god if you did find one, you ended up with a 1 alc item anyway.

I've not seen a single lich thus far, and I don't believe they even exist at this point; it's just a fever dream and everyone is sick.

Harbringer was so terrible, but at least you got to enjoy the content and you got actual tangible rewards, just like with Breach and splinters. Abyss is just another letdown, in what seems to be a consistent trend this last year.
5 liches so far, after 3 weeks of grinding. I'm definitely not getting that challenge done in this league.
Fuck master rotas. Fuck any kind of rotas, for that matter.
I have found 5 liches so far.

4 Amanamu and 1 Ulaman.
I'm level 91.

It's hard to get all the challenges this league, specially if you play solo like I do. But I will grind on as much as I can, because it's a lot of fun. My favorite league I think so far.
GamingNorth on Youtube!
Headhunter drop during Legion! After 4711 hours!
I've only played 3 days, 22 hours and 53 minutes on my character in Abyss so far. 5 Liches, of which 4 were Amanamu and 1 Ulaman. Only level 88 so far, but I've done every Abyss I've found.

Some of the challenges this league are very RNG-based, which I'll admit is a bit frustrating. Loving the league itself though, probably my favourite along with Legacy.
