Well I got everything together now and the build just feels amazing. After switching to the flasks you mentioned survival has been 0 issues, regen is amazing, damage insane.

Xophs drastically increased my clear speed and boss speed...which was already stupid before. Well worth it. All I have left now is the helm enchant but i'll be damned if i'm paying 10ex - i'd rather live in uber the rest of the league lol. I'm already using 2 molten jewels, might just get something for FB to help with clear instead as it's cheaper by far.

Great build, cant wait til i'm around 90 so I can farm some endgame bosses.
If anyone reads reddit it seems swords will be a lot more available now ~5c a pop.

Thats with my setup tho. I can see in some cases with rare amulet PPAD to be better than Immolete for ballz but remember that Immolete works also for Melee part of MS.

May I ask why you didn't go for the Arsonist passive node? Seems quite helpful with the increased fire damage, plus the life regen


It's too far away from default path - simply not optimal to path there.


Update - added Hydra fight... Ancestrall Call + Elemental Equilibrium.. Pain in the ass to hop from place to place.

Thanks a lot for this guide, having a lot of fun with it even in SSF.

I have one question though: why are you switching Fire Pen to Ancestrall Call on your MS before the Hydra fight ?

I looked at some other pure MS builds and they were running Multistrike + Ancestrall Call, even for bosses apparently.
I remember reading that you could use the namelock trick to use MS in front of the boss and you'd thus get the Molten Balls from your attack + the ones from the Ancestrall Call (actually hitting the boss with the Melee Hit). Any info on that ?

First of all - painful boss to fight - Ancestral Call auto targets.
Second - Wanned to test how much "less dmg" multipler i can have and still kill it (Equilibrium + Multistrike + AC on that video)
Third - If you position youself well ballz from AC and you "can" overlap, can but dont have to. Its actually very hard to keep track of moving boss and keep correct distance.

I'm so torn on what to use for my 6l on molten honestly. I was using your main page setup but I noticed lots of streamers using ancestral instead. I recently setup the numlock trick and have to say that ancestral instead of fire pen has varied drastically in boss killing from killing them easily 2x as fast to it being equal or slower. The big difference is exactly what you said though, not having to actually target them when they move a lot like with hydra. Not sure which I like more yet, or if I should drop something else and keep fire pen with it.

I got the frost blades helm enchant instead of MS due to using 2 of the jewels and the gross price of MS enchant atm (10ex for a white base). MS already deletes bosses and I noticed a pretty big increase in clear speed with not having to stop for random rares that don't die quickly anymore.

This build is so good all in all. Very fun to play, tanky as f, so much dmg. I love it!
how about im dropping artic armour to herald of ash or ice ?
