why my resistance is so low even i have the right gear? Is there anything wrong with my character?

and now my fire resistance is 56, ice resistance is 75 and light resistance is 39....how the hell that happen?

u get -res when u kill some bosses...

From the wiki:

Completion of Act 5: -30% to all resistances
Completion of Act 10: -30% to all resistances (-60% total)

So to be capped at 75% resistance, you need a total of 135% for each elemental resistance once you've killed Kitava in Act 10.

You can achieve this with gear, some skills, key stones, flasks and of course jewels.

You can also go without capping... but most don't. 75% is normal.

You get some resistances from Endurance charges too. So if you're able to maintain them, you can count on that as well.

I always thought this was a massive dick move, especially since theres no in game warning its going to happen or any explanation that it did happen. In act 6 I was like why are my resists so low and i had to ask in chat to find out.

I mean. It tells you it happens when you kill the boss.

Be careful about relying on endu charges, some monsters can remove your charges/buffs.

Hmm... Looks like you need more multi-resistances on gear:

Tri-resist gear is the holy trinity we all seek. 2nd option is to use a high resist weapon if possible:

I used this sword on a tri-totem freezing pulse build just for the +54% to all resistances. Even then I needed to use a Purity of Elements aura to get all 3 resistances capped in maps.

Edit: I see your boots have tri-res and that's good. Maybe use resistance jewels.

You could always use goldrim... I sometimes even see people in the epilogue still wearing that.
