why my resistance is so low even i have the right gear? Is there anything wrong with my character?

I personally think the resistance requirement is a bit too steep, and this forces every player to go tri-res on anything that isn't a unique. There are so many interesting items I would love to wear for their effects, but just because they don't have resistance or maximum life, I have to pass.

" There are tons of ways to get resistance, if your small pea brain can only handle a single source being rare items, this game is not for you. Lets elaborate! Rare items, with 3 you can cap your res!! Wow!! Jewels, res jewels are cheap, and easy to integrate, wow!!! Passive skill tree can grant great resistances if you really think your super unique uniques will be of use, investment in other sources!! Wow!!! Flasks, easy resistances, with an average build you can upkeep flasks up in mob phases easy, wow!!! Resistance auras, feel like you lack that specific or 2 resistances, invest into auras and even get max res as a reward, wow wow wow!!!!! Sorry this game has 0 mechanics for resistances and always forces triple res rare items, such a shit game, i think i need to quit it! |

" That's kinda harsh :p I usually have to tailor my character in HC based on resists, but I like the balance in keeping myself in check when it comes time to fight Kitava and figure out if i will have enough resists to stay above even while cursed. It's a good little mini game trying to get it all sorted out :) |

I will be as harsh as I want towards players who complain aboit things that are nonexistant. If he is ignorant to the enormous amount of options he deserves to be pit in place. Yes, there are cool things to try out, but if you want something youmneed to give up something else, you cant just get damage and defensive from each source of everything!
Recently the GGG staff has kept me in check, i wont be surprised if they remove my previous post. |

Allow me to contribute as a long time SSF player:
(1) I always take the +all resists bandit quest now (15?) - the witch chick. (2) By the time you reach the -60 resist point, you will need multiple tier 1 resist rolls on several gear items, a couple of +12-15% all resists, and some passive nodes to help out The gear you linked has mostly tier 3 resist rolls at best. The new Abyss eyeballs help a ton, because you can put a +life +resist in every jewel slot you open in the tree. I had over 7,000 hps and capped resists faster this league than any other. |

" Do not let my supporter packs fool you, i was just but a casual poe player strolling by barely reaching maps prior to harbinger, and at harbinger I decided to dwell deeper inro the game, I did not come to the forum to complain aboit how its hard to cap resistances or its impossible to do variety builds, its very much possible and there is a substantial amount of ways to work in different essentials into your build. If asked about something more complex than resistances maybe i wouldnt bee so harsh and unforgiving, but he is complaining about a basic concept and insisting that it is impossible to find the resistances elsewhere. So i stand my case as a new player, that he is bringing a comment that garners no fulfilment and has to be put down. I would explain in deeper but typing on a tablet is sometimes infuriating due to slow type speed and constant mistakes as a perfectionist. |

I neither complained nor insisted any form of impossibility regarding resistances in my earlier post. I merely said certain more interesting uniques might have to be given up because of the emphasis on resistance, but like most folks nowadays that was enough to trigger you and get offended. Do not mistake your personality disorder for perfection. There are misguided people out there who love to use perfection as an excuse for their imperfections, ironically.
