dude..i love this game...i just hate the fact this things happen..what if u were about to trade like 20 chaos orbs or whatever and this happens.. i bet u would complain too..maybe a low priced Leap Slam gem isnt worth as much as that, but still...

You did something wrong.

The reason you see all these level 1 chars pop in and out is simple.

1 pc is handling 6 accounts. The level 1's port into a boss chamber by 1 click of button. They die a horrible death. The 1 account has a higher level, He than solo's boss and collects 6x quanity of items for a full party. He picks up loot, clicks 1 button to resurrect all the naked 1's and repeats this cycle.

Youtube WOW multibox, A fellow was able to have over 25 free accounts of wow set up. He would spam dances and other crap with a single click and all 25 accounts would perform the action.

You are right to be concerned as ppl using these automated programs can be banned from POE.

Multi boxing is only ""legit"" if you have multiple windows open and have to move mouse to each individual window to perform a action. This person is obviously using software that emulates keystrokes as to not have the hassle of scrolling to each window and clicking.

This is automation and is bannable as it is pretty much botting.

The problem is GGG needs to be able to detect the automating program which is nothing but a headache. Can't just rely on reports etc, due to ppl trolling with that function.

I don't think you're taking this seriously enough, and I think we should get to the bottom of this right now. I mean there's obviously a league of level 1's out there hacking peoples trade windows, but you guys make it sound like the OP's younger brother traded his Leap Slam gem to another person by accident? Clearly that is crazy talk considering how plausible the former is.
