Would be nice they could appear at roughly 10% frequency as of the main colors.

And have a very low chance of making one from a chromatic

" That's like saying it would be nice to be playing cards with a deck that had five or six jokers. Really, if this is implemented, the odds should be considerably lower than that, somewhere in the 1-3% range. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

Or maybe .5% considering a lot of people stack chromes

Maybe .1% chance of tri-color, and .3% chance for each of 2 out of 3 color combinations, for that one socket.
I think this would be pretty mean towards colorbind folks, though. :< |

What I'd do if I decided everything:
* Introduce prismatic sockets as OP described. These would be golden in color. * Also introduce hyrbid sockets. These would fade from one color to another and allow either of those color gems, but not the third color. Odds for single-stat pieces: 192/341 (56.30%) on color 64/341 (18.77%) off color #1 64/341 (18.77%) off color #2 8/341 (2.35%) on-off hybrid #1 8/341 (2.35%) on-off hybrid #2 4/341 (1.17%) off-off hybrid 1/341 (0.29%) prismatic Odds for double-stat pieces: 128/341 (37.54%) on color #1 128/341 (37.54%) on color #2 64/341 (18.77%) off color 12/341 (3.52%) on-on hybrid 4/341 (1.17%) on-off hybrid #1 4/341 (1.17%) on-off hybrid #2 1/341 (0.29%) prismatic When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Hybrid sockets sound like an awesome idea as well. Nice suggestion :)

" I hadn't considered it from the card perspective of things thanks mr Scrotie. |

I like this suggestion.
I was thinking the other day that a small subset of the gems we have should be colorless and fit any socket. |
