Potato graphics no longer works

I wish they'd bring it back. Atm the game is unplayable for me in some cases.
GGG why the hell have u stoped this function and dont boost ur programming? I got 70fps when i be alone or 2-3 enemys are there. But when i cast a new skill that got more effects then all skills before and fps drops to 15-05. I dont want to fight against the new Bosses with these fps drops!!!

So when u stopped to downgrade the Quality please, BOOST ur programming so we can get a constant FPS and not these 60 to 5 FPS drops.

And No, i dont buy me a new PC all the time when u thing a new skill is coming to the game...


...and i thought GGG were a better Team as Blizzard or Activision. U got 1k new players and lost 2k old players, great strategy GGG!!!!

And im so happy that i dont have buy a supporter pack for these shit....

I'm experiencing these crashes as well.

Could it have been an error in the torrent gppk?

I was playing after pcket extraction and patch ok for a while. But then after a restart, maybe the 3.1.0b patch? The options for low textures and dynamic resolution disappeared
I'm just curious but did you try the dynamic resolution option in the game ?
Setting it to 30 or 45.

It should maintain the fps by decreasing the 3D rendering resolution (no impact on the UI).


I have a good pc but when storm call was bugged (spamming it would tank the fps), i saw dynamic resolution working really well at keeping 60fps.
A shit man, i was trying like crazy and getting angry that the settings werent working. Am i gonna have to stop playing poe now because i cant afford to buy a gaming pc? I live in a tiny 1 room apartment with no space for a pc and i dont plan on spending 2k on a gaming laptop, thats just out of the question. i wonder why they removed this option that helped so many players. Honestly, most of the people i know that play this game are currently playing on potato pc's and laptops. Why would they treat theyre players like this?

In my case and many others, the new client isnt an option since the disconects are too frequent. Every time you load a zone, even if it was previously loaded, theres a huge change you will get disconected while loading. It never got fixed.
This is also hurting the Mac players. (I know, GGG doesn't officially support Mac, but we've gotten help in the past.) New instances aren't loading (or are freezing 40 seconds in) I think because the graphics are overloading Wine and wineskins.

Same problem old pc users are having, apparently.
So, thats means 20% players say goodbye to PoE?
Disapoint...
Reading through this, it seems the minimum requirments to play the game,
changed completly since the latest patch.

Is there any official information about minimum requirments for the game
as how it is now?

Maybe half of the problems here would explain themself, as not anyone has a high-end computer,
that can just run along with any changes made to the game.


yep same thing happens to me i was playing with 10 texture quality no longer works now i barely see 50 fps
no longer playing
