I would love to get a channel going showing off Path of Exile. I spend a lot of time playing, so I might as well do a channel and show off some of my stuff and ideas.

For sure man, enjoyed the vid, was a nice chill watch. Would definately enjoy more PoE content from a normal fella ignoring the meta. Go for it.

The whole, it's not perfect but I still did it angle I think would appeal to a lot of POE players who want to take down the game, but feel inhibited by build. You're setting a nice example here.

Sarcastic joke aside, I feel like this is what poe is all about, personal growth and personal achievements, yes the top build obliterate shaper phases in 4 seconds, and so what? They spent a cataclysmical amount of time learning mechanics of the game and another set of time to design and think of a character probably even in their sleep. So dont feel bad you should feel delighted, you set personal goals and completed them, thats why tyis game is good, I did shaper for the forst time this league aswell so we are kinda brothers in arms, keep up the good work!

Yeah, as I was saying, I totally agree with you. I feel like I've joined a semi secret club, like an elite special force. There is definitely some camaraderie there.

If you think about it, even in an elite special force, you have elites within elites that are in a league of their own, hence the 4 second Shaper phases.

As for personal achievement I completely agree with you and it's how I've been thinking about the game myself. Everyone has their own relationship to it. Like, for example, some people are still getting their butts kicked in Cruel, others can't get passed T11 maps, some can't touch Guardians, then there's us who have taken down Shaper, and finally, you have those that fly through end game content with ease because they've done it so many times and now offer services to other players.

So yes, I was very, and am still, very proud of reaching this goal. Shaper was a huge one for me. I died a lot, raged, got upset that GGG made a terrible game etc.. but I still did it. I knew it was possible even if it felt impossible. The best part was, I put my own build to the test.

Awesome! Chill, is where it's at. Yeah, I mostly do my own thing in game, especially when it comes to the atlas and sextant rolls. I've recorded some corrupt farms and some Nemesis maps that provide interesting results. I think aside from a build video, those will be my next videos.

If i can ask, how many hours have you put into poe? I have 1100 hours, but harbinger was my most played league with a character with nearly 13 days ingame, just wondering and eager to compare.

Nice1 man gz. I’ve killed shaper 1st time this league too and I was so happy about it;) did got gloves about 6-7 times and than got t sword so I’m pretty happy cos I’ve runout of fragments and time too ;)

I'm currently at 2125 hours of total game play. I spent about 1,200 in legacy. So I think I'm approaching 1000 here for harbinger.

I'd say that for legacy some of those hours I spent AFK, sleeping, with my audio on listening for trades.

This league didn't really sleep trade so I'd say it's roughly the same amount for both leagues.


I'd say it's really awesome guys that we've all taken down Shaper at least once! Really feel like I know you guys just from the Shaper kill. Crazy :D I also want to say great job on getting the kill too! You've congratulated me, I would like to congratulate you!
