Need help with sustaining RF

Quite odd, if you have all Life and no Energy Shield, and your Life Regenerated per Second value is 22.5% of your maximum Life or higher, you should be able to have no net Life loss when standing around in an empty area with RF on. Only thing I could think of would be a math mistake (like if your Life Regen value was 2.2% instead of 22%)

That's what I am saying, literally standing here with no enemies and I cannot sustain it without ES. I don't get it

Out of curiosity, what's providing your massive 22% life regen?

If you read Sarno and my posts carefully, you should notice there's a difference between additional fire resistance and additional maximum fire resistance. The cap is a "soft cap" that can be raised indefinitely the more "x% additional maximum fire resistance" you get.

All of my gear has life regen on it. I adjusted some things and now have, under the character tab, 23.5% life regen. My fire resistance is 75 (122%). I am not misreading these numbers

At the absolute least, I would only need 22.5% Life Regen to sustain RF without ES. Is this correct? Because when I just stand in a random area, without enemies attacking, I still takes my health down.

The character sheet doesn't show you % life regen, it shows you absolute regen. At least this fact is true on PC. Perhaps one of the Xbox designers got confused and mislabeled a value.

When I mentioned % on character sheet before, I thought you were manually calculating it (e.g. 22.4 / 849, or something) :p that's why I phrased it all clunkily before.

This is not in percent of your life, but actually the total amount of life that is regenerated per second. You have to divide it by your maximum life and multiply it with 100 to get percent.
