Remove all exp gained from lab when die
As tittle says.
This is the first character I level, I'm right now in act 7 and I'm level 62. Apart from doing the acts (killing and exploring everything) and exp the masters, I did normal lab several times, and cruel lab several times. Maybe I'm wrong but I've too much level for act 7. So this, or give more margin to exp-drop reduction by difference in level from character and map. Last bumped on Oct 18, 2017, 7:23:04 AM

What? I ... like... what?
If you are too high level, de-level through the recipe if needed, though that would be a bit stupid. Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

So 3 answers, 2 jokes and 1 stupid solution.
First let's clarify that I don't pretend to have all people agree with me, but at least understand the issue? Man, I just play normally, and I'm 11 levels above the act 7 level, so I'm getting drop and exp penalty for doing what? play normally? This is when I realize the only problem here is that lab give tons of exp, and it does not remove it when die. So here is where my suggestion come in. PD: btw de-level recipe is for gem, not for characters. Last edited by wanatry#0241 on Oct 13, 2017, 1:59:57 PM

so if i understand correctly,
you farmed a few areas to gain levels, and then are saying you gained experience too quickly so the rest of the game felt easy. My experience from leveling characters is that you are meant to go through each area once, with some back tracking for quests. While doing this i tend to stay slightly at +/- 1 level for the area while soloing, and a few levels less while running in a group. overall i felt the progression from lvl 1-65 very smooth going through the story. lvls 60-75 are the most annoying as you gradually get to your gear for maps and have the awkward transition period. Lvls 75-90 are fairly comfortable. Lvls 90+ feels more and more like an unfair chore. Where the best way to level is to actually start skipping content like bosses or higher tier maps. I hope this gets improved and the experience penalty on death gets revisted. |

No, I did not farm areas to gain level, I just die so many times in lab ,and gain 10 more levels just doing labs and normal progression, acts, masters...

" I know you're probably not an English native speaker is why but, I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're saying. "Remove all exp gained from lab when die" a fixed percentage of exp is removed when you die, not all experience gained from doing a specific area. I don't know what it means to die so many times in lab, yet, you gained 10 levels. I don't understand if you are complaining that too much experience is lost or too little. I don't understand what you're complaining about or what you think should be changed. " But you ARE farming areas namely you are farming the lab,so ofc you are gonna be overleveled. Stop farming normal and cruel lab it's useless anyway just do them once. Btw you dont lose exp on normal and only 5% on cruel so dying doesn't realy mean that much in normal/cruel.
