I cannot but you can play with PoB. Craft GG opals with wed + essenced flat lightning, 2x Volley fire (everyone forgets these still exist now for some reason) and maybe a cheap helmet enchantment (+1/lightning golem 150%) + other required gems/things. Should easily get you to well over 500K Barrage DPS.

Regarding Esh, 1 - 10 added lightning damage per every shocked enemy killed in the last 4 seconds really snowballs damage quickly with HH.

Well yes, this is the design on ele wanders, stacking as much flat damage as possible to scale it up from the tree and gear as opposed to seeing added elemental damage based on your physical damage. For that reason wrath is relatively mandatory. But this is kind of a moot point entirely, since again you are playing pathfinder and don't need any defensive auras because you can get more entropy/eva from qotf + 2 flasks than other builds can get running grace.

Well, it's not really mixed scaling, 90%+ of your damage is going to come from lightning anyway regardless of if you have other elemental flat rolls on your wand.

Oh I get it now... you're saying wanders are worse than bow builds because you have no idea what you're talking about in general.

Esh's mirror (note: this is NOT esh's visage) guarantees that all rare monsters will be oneshot. With vaal breach you can do the same with even the bosses that have startup animations.

I've been playing bows (and wands) longer than you've been playing poe. Get off your high horse.


If you need help from one of the most circumstantial on kill mechanics in the game to kill rare mobs, you're doing it wrong. As for using Esh as a way to gain dps vs bosses, have you ever actually tried inputting the figures into PoB.

1-10 lightning damage per killed mob over 4 seconds is laughably weak, any wand build that uses this for anything other novelty is a joke and I commend the followers for placing so much misguided faith into the build creator(s).

Fastes I've seen is some streamer playing a pathfinder cyclone with the axe that drop molten strike balls. It was insanely fast.

I play flicker tho and nobody i group up with is ever faster then me tho. Super expensive tho.

WED -> weapon elemental damage, was renamed in 3.0 to Elemental Damage with Attacks (both as the gem and the affixes on items)

You can't essence craft jewels.

Opal is a type of ring, that has %inc elemental damage implicit.

But while we are on it, a cheap bow build can get 500k barrage deeps from the price of that 2 opal ring bases, wands might be stronger with super high-end gear, but the dps/currency invested ratio is horrible.

'GG' in this context, means endgame top-tier, cannot-readily-be-improved-upon gear. As the point of PoE, in many folks' eyes, is to find the Ultimate Loot, any loot which can be considered Ultimate is 'GG' loot. As in, yes, 'Good game, I win'.

Krenderke otherwise covered it. 'WED' is the old abbreviation for Elemental Damage with Attacks, which used to be Weapon Elemental Damage. People still call it 'WED' out of habit and because saying 'Wed" as a word is easier than saying "EDwA" so they get stuck on it. Jewels can't be essenced but opal rings can, though doing so is hardly a guarantee of crafting a 'GG'-level item. Not that such matters, even moderate-ish rolls on an Opal ring can be quite pricey.
