Is it possible to tank uber lab traps?

You can get more than enough regen to do this. You're incredibly wrong. Most RF characters can do it with rf turned off.

Yes. Outside of base damage being determined by your maximum Life and Energy Shield, lab traps function the same as any other damage in the game. This means that Fortify will reduce damage you take from any lab traps that Hit. That would be: ground spikes, poison darts, cleaver blades.

So, won't help much against what I find the most dangerous (rotating pillars, sawblades, blade sentries) as they are Damage over Time.

Increasing your maximum Fire Resistance will help with the molten ground, but it's probably not worth the investment :P

occulist with good amount of total ES, you can even stand there and not worry of dying.
