What's the point of mirrors in SSF?
If you have an 'almost' super awesome item that you could theoretically improve (Say, trying to get it from a 5L to a 6L) you could mirror it. Then you can keep using the copy while you screw around with the original without worrying that you'll make it worse.

Why worry about something that happens to so few so rarely?
|

" Because it should feel just as, if not more rewarding to the few it does happen to. |

Nah... D2 was great fun, and I never got a Cham or a Zod. In fact, those were two of the five items that I never got.

" Zod was actually the only rune above Lo that I ever self-found. Was pretty disappointed to find that it had less value than Cham at that point of the economy :P |

There are a few options:
- migrate it to a trading league and get rich instantly - save it as a trophy - mirror a perfect 1 hand weapon, ring or jewel - mirror a perfect rare so you have a backup in the event of a hardcore death - mirror something you want to vaal so you have a backup in case you brick it - mirror something you want to annul so you have a backup for when you delete your t1 wed roll - vendor it for the orbs - do something silly with it for a youtube video I personally would migrate it and use the wealth to try out new builds. |
