>>> Marketplace Stash Tab - Read, comment and think about it!

Idea is pretty straight forward.

To be added:
1) Marketplace Tab
- A new separate stash tab called "Marketplace".
- This tab will not allow currency, all other items can be placed in Marketplace Tab.

2) Marketplace interface.
- A new npc/thing will open up the marketplace interface, where you can search for ALL items that are in player's marketplace stash tab.
- It will include filters by affixes/suffixes, values, etc.

How it works for the SELLER:
* Whenever i put something in that tab, it means i want to sell/trade it. This means that if it matches a search criteria it will show up as a result in Marketplace tab.
* I can see all offers on my items and i can click to accept any one i like. If i accept one, the system automatically trades the items. Item received go to a "received items" tab in your stash thats just holds them temporarily until you move them to a proper stash.
* You can select a "Only currency" option, to only accept currency. Making trading and viewing offers simpler and faster.

How it works for the BUYER:
* If i like an item and want to buy it, i can click on it, and a trade window appears. I can drop my currency/items that i'll offer for it there.
* if i like an item and want to buy it i can whisper the seller to haggle for it.
* You can offer on many items , and your currency won't be "held" , as soon as you no longer have the currency to support one of your offers, its cancelled. So say you had 3 exalt and you offered on many items, if one of them accepts it , or you traed your exalts the rest of the offers are cancelled.

But , thats an AH and it sucks
No its not, because there is no Bidding or buy outs, there's no automatic chosing of when to sell.
It's just a more robust trading so the tradechat is left for specific trade chat discussions, like exchange rate, price checks, specific questions, and orb exchange.

What it changes/solves:
- TRADE CHAT SPAM!.
- The annoying part of scrolling through thousand of crappy trade chat posts about items i dont give a fuck.
- trade chat cluttering
- not being able to find an upgrade or a specific item you want

What it DOESNT change, so it remains the same:
- Haggle trades, barter system.
- Person to person trading.

I don't see how this would hurt the game, i truly believe this NEEDS to happen in one way or another.
The devs have already announced plans for public stash tabs. I assume the forthcoming trade features will allow trading from these tabs.

will we be able to search in a search interface, or just for "forum trading" which is as awful as tradechat spam?

The seller will also need a way to sort/filter the offers.

Didn't think about it, but yes, the thing is my idea does not include the game telling you at ANY time that one thing is more worth than other thing.
So if you order offers, you would need to include that X orb is worth more than the other.
And i don't like that.

The idea is to just remove the tradechat spam, and have the offer on each item, have the ability to search for items etc.

But yes, some ballpark estimate of worth would be cool.
You have my vote.

Seems harmless enough and there would not be any manipulation like in D3 or WoW. I'm guessing that different people cannot see what other offers are?

Yeah you'd want it to be a blind system where each user making an offer can't view everyone elses offer and you can't withdraw an offer. That should mitigate most ways of gaming the system.

Sweet. Would love to see something like this in-game.

Yes that's my idea, it's just a more "modern" way of doign the tradechat spam ,that i fucking hate and puts me off every damn day. I wan't to trade, i dont wan't to stop playing to spam trade chat every 2 minutes.
