Can we sell/buy characters? Is this in the roadmap

D2's charm was rushing and it took no time for you to be a semi-lvl for end game. I don't understand why PoE isn't like that ffs the games a fucking memory of it.

As a altoholic I find this idea interesting.
It would allow players who like to experiment new builds on low/mid levels to test things out,
and after they're done sell that stripped char template on for a fair price, no sick profit fishing.
Speedrunners and racers could also do the same.

How to store a char:

-After stripping the char naked (lvl 28?-100?), you can store it like a imprint,
place it in the stash and set a price on it.

-This action of "storing" a char prevents you from exiting the area you currently are in,
and takes effect when you log out/exit to char screen.

-The stored char is now deleted from the char list, and exists in your stash as a 2x4 slot nicely wrapped package box. The box displays the class name, char level, and asc points: 0/2/4/6/8.
The name is erased.

-The passive tree remains the same if the original account user opens their own char box,
but is given a full reset if opened by another account*

-Other issues**

How to activate a stored char:

-Buy a premade char box, right click to open it like a gift item.

-The char is now added to your char list with a msg displaying the new char class, lvl and asc points.

-To play this char you have to simply rename the new char in the selection screen.

* From this skill reset we can set a maximum price: 1 regret per clvl,
because why would anyone pay more if they could just fully reset any of their current chars for the same cost? Standard chars will most likely go for close to nothing, whereas hc chars are very expensive, also higher levels will naturally play a role in multiplying the cost.

** Side quest progress, bandit selection, all the passive bonus points, waypoints?
Could be generalised, so that you can store a char only at certain milestone tiers,
like after killing a act boss? Every 5 levels starting from 35-40...60-65 could work.
The entire act will count as done and sidequests too, or maybe you need to finish all sidequests first to be able to unlock the next "char store" tier.

this! oh baby. the dream.!

I don't see why they can't add power-leveling...

Why does there have to be experience penalty between low-high level players?

List every issue you have and I try to solve them.

-Char trading is p2p no real money, just game currency.

-Chars are leveled over time by players, not instagenerated by GGG.

-The char costs will (if there's any logic left in this universe and korea won't start WW3)
orbit towards a justified range of under 1 regret/clvl, more for hc naturally.

-chars over lvl 90 or those who reached a ladder position could have a grayed out name or be removed from the ladder, if that's what the community wanted to keep it *pure*

-There's a solution for everything so stop crying take a deep breath and chill.

*edit*

Actually I dare say the cost of a premade char could easily hit 2-3c/clvl because how long it takes to hit lvl 66 and start mapping (compared to pre 3.0) and how much people are bored with/hate said content. Would be indeed very interesting to see where the char value settles.
