What setup do you use with curse on hit? Gems and levels

Im using curse on hit-blade vortex-cwdt lvl 1-warlords mark lvl 12

Try ball lightning better, just leave it on level 1 as cwdt, curse on hit u can lvl up to 20 same as curse

I can only get ball lightning to work nothing else will proc I have it all the same as you same gem levels and all that and all linked sockets? Does it have to be the same as yours like set up wise or will it work as long as they're all connected ??

when i activate hatred, herald of ash and herald of ice all my mana is gone. cant use cyclone this way.
