Prophecy system changed for worst?
Imo Prophecies should be dished out based on story completion.
Part 1 : Act 1 - 4, get tons of stuff like Sharpening Stone, etc Usually prophecies which could aid starters, maybe even low level unique prophecy drops. Par 1 Act 5 - Part 2 Act 8, start getting things like Lost Maps, Pale Council Endgame : start getting things like Jeweller's touch, high level Fated encounters, high level Unique drops (example would be Kaom's Chosen fated drop), maybe even higher level version of Lost Maps, and various high leveled Fated upgrades. Just this week I had exactly the same thoughts. Kuduka and Kadaka? OK, they are in act 1 mericl... wait a minute. ***travels to level 8 zone while harshly cursing about the GGG balance experts*** It reminded me about the reason I hated prophecy league so much. Not only are most of them a waste of time, they also massively insult any players intelligence. The 3.0 changes did indeed bring many new stuff. Yet major issues like Prohecies need to be fixed ASAP. And for gods sake, while you are at it GGG, make Navali shut up somehow!!!!!! |

Also I noticed that a lot of fated encounter, such as ghost popping out of monsters, etc. No matter what level zone you are, they spawn as level 70 monsters and drop ilvl 72 items if they are rares/uniques etc. Not sure if this is for all cases though, probably it is just if you are level 70+, but maybe that means in lower levels it scales up similarily. |

OK wtf started spending silver coins again and now monsters spawned in low zones are regular (low) level again...

You can always see that mummified corpse lying on my shore part of hideout. And masters around in circle staring on it..

If GGG is going to make us do things outside of maps, then the world areas should be apropiated for that (as a bonus, at least you'd have some chance to find corrupted areas with some luck).
I say the epilogue should have access to all the world areas at a relatively high level (like around 70 for obvious reasons) and end game prophecies should be balanced to be challenging. That obviously is not trivial to do (there are many areas in Part I that dissapeared in Part II, everything should be reconnected for that). Add a Forsaken Masters questline

I love prophecyes. This is my most favorite thing in the game so far. But you know, getting prophecy to rise quality of any armor piece to 20% with single orb... at lvl 90... three times in the row - this is ridiculous.
Also, I spent about 200 coins on fresh character (started spend at lvl 70+) to get all four keys to Pale Council. I think something broken here. E = mc^(OMG)/wtf

It could be so easy ... ) no area bound prophecies ) the can just trigger in the next area you visit but for such ideas you need some love for the game and i start fearing it's gone on GGG's side sincerely KIWI |

Before 3.0 i was always short on coins if i didnt bought any whch indicated that the system was working.
Now im stackig 200+ silver coins and the prophecys are never fullfilled and i do 50+ maps a day also i delete all the backtracking area bound garbage prophecys that shouldnt be there in the first place. Agreed, the whole prophecy system need a rework imo.
For example, the Kuduku-Kadaka one, while not bad in itself (reward is ok) now forces you in a lv8 zone :-( ... if it could also trigger in some maps (with the totem boss, and maybe an increased reward) wouldn't it be better? Players would have a choice, and that's a good thing imho. "Metas rotate all the time, eventually the developers will buff melee"
